Hello, Gail a new subscriber. I have another favorite hobby . I am a serious coloring book enthusiast and collector. I switch to junk journaling maybe a year ago . Coloring for a while but now I like to make my daughter a special journal and a few watercolor / art interactive booklets I have pictured in my mind for my grandchildren. I use different pockets and journaling spots for prompts . I never seen any of these pockets and envelopes you made here ! Be great to hide supplies, stickers and mixed media stuff . It is so fun seeing all new ideas you super talented ladies come up with on TH-cam!! Ty

Great vid. I think I would also make the back pockets into one. But put a long flap closure. Maybe use magnets to seal. Uner the flap would be the verse. On the front. Open the bag and attach ribbon to form a handle and decorate the front and use it as the card. In the main pocket use for gift. Vouchers etc.

I like your take on the 6×6. On the outside, you could take one of those bottle caps that you made for a closure and glue the bottom half of it on the bottom flap and tuck the top flap in it.

That journal would make a wonderful travel folio on a trip to store tickets, tags, items along the way to remember the journey. Attaching a small paper pad would make a great place for jotting down thoughts and experiences to remember. Love it! You have lovely ideas. Also, I'm up for joining paper pads anonymous. I don't have as many as you, but am willing to shopping for more to be able to join!! 😂

These are s adorable, attractive projects
ON THE FIRST PROJECT:
Since the pockets are so tight on the backside, I’d opt for only one pocket there by also gluing a pink paper trim flap from the inside of the far pocket to the outside of the closet pocket. It would let the recipient see the pocket better and look like part of the decor of the bag, mimicking the top of the front of the bag.
I would do this gluing BEFORE folding the bag up in the back and then glue the flap up as demonstrated in the video.
That's an interesting variation, thank you for sharing it.😃

I thought of creating a 1/8" gusset on the side, so it will allow some thickness. That way back pocket will not be so tight. I liked having more pockets. Your idea will also be great!

Thanks for sharing. These are nice elements to add in a journal or mini album. I am always looking for interesting paper ideas to add interest and fun to journals. And decorating is my favorite thing to do. I sometimes do not know how to use all those little ephemera pieces but now I do! ❤❤❤

Brilliant, Ann! Every one of these could easily be used in journals as well as cards. That "journal booklet" would actually make a lovely "stocking stuffer" type of gift for many people, depending on the papers used. Very useful for tucking into pocket or handbag. I've bookmarked this video so I can come back and make these things over and over. Thank you so much!
