When my Nuvo drops thickened as much as your second one. I scraped the 'plug' out of the nozzle and just put a few drops of water in (I think they are water soluble) and it worked perfectly (in case you don't have Isopropyl Alcohol. I also make shimmer spray with mica powders in water too. Some great tips here Ann . . . you are the only card maker I follow on here now as you are always finding new ways to use what you have already own and the reason I went off card making ages ago was because everyone was using all the 'latest' products and I felt that I HAD to have them and was spending a fortune! You have brought the joy back for me. Thank you so much! Hazel 👍💖
Thank you Ann, what superb tips. You are SO one of the best crafter I have ever come across. Everything you show us in your videos is relevant to stuff I use. You'd make an incredible art teacher. I really do appreciate your time in helping us. Take care, xx
Ann, these are all great tips. You know I'm all about telling Mr G about 'bargains' and winning imaginary competitions. Thanks for giving me the tools to show him just exactly what I'm doing to save money. 🤔 😆 ❤
Just wanted to say I absolutely LOVE your videos. I'm a kiwi so your gorgeous accent just adds to the joy of them. You keep doing you, you beautiful lady 😘
All of this video was super but the alcohol tip for nuvo (& other) drops was worth it alone. I have always, always had a tail on my drops . I've assumed it was either UK / my flat not being warm enough and/or me being rubbish at it. This makes more sense and will save me a lot of (sometimes fruitless) tapping. Thank you again for all these tips - they're great. 👍
Hi Ann, a great video to watch. Brilliant tips and tricks especially the nuvo drops n the ink that makes the card pearly. Brilliant. Thank you as always xx
I appreciate your tips and your organization skills …thank you Ann. I absolutely enjoy your personality and videos. As you would say …. “I am rubbish at organizing!!”
I really like the new color🤗! And thanks for all these great tips, I'm ordering that ink asap so I cam make that spray and do the pearlescent thing on my cardstock. And the Nuvo drop advice is priceless. You hit it out of the ballpark again with this video.
WOW Thankyou for telling us about the all purpose ink ! I have just found the Windsor &Newton iridescent one and ordered it ..I'm so pleased it was just what I needed 🥰
I've done my swatches on bits of card and put them in a business card folder, really handy if you don't have space for something bigger than a dl size folder. For cleaning my stamps I just use water and one of those cloths that you dry cars with. I never goes mouldy or smells. Keep it wet in a little tub, can be put in the washing machine if need be.
Thank you so much Ann, I really really appreciate your time and effort to bring this to us all. So very very useful and helpful too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Fab tips, Ann. Ty for sharing. I threw some drops away quite recently because of going too thick! I won't make that mistake again, especially as I have isopropyl at hand. Enjoy your day. xx
Thank you, Ann, for all your offerings here. They are extremely helpful. I’m an extremely organized person to a fault and don’t tend to work in my art room unless things are neat. Right now, after a move, it surely isn’t but your tips sure do make me feel better.
Great tips tutorial video. Would love 💕 more tips and great ideas videos. Lovely to see you on a Wednesday sounds as though you’ve got your wonderful Mojo back. Angel blessings 🦋🐝💕🌈❤️💜
You are awesome! I watch TH-cam at night on my TV, I’ve got it turned on to card making and one of yours came on about a month ago and I was addicted, gee you have some great works, l watched the one you were using foil and you showed one that you used an embossing folder the one that has the paisley print on the top and bottom, can I ask where you bought that. I have been searching everywhere that I could and cannot find it. I love all your works and so glad I found your channel.
Lots of good ideas here , thank you . I have glycerin for ink blending and have loads of Nuevo drops but never use because they’ve never looked circular but peaked even when they were new . Definitely will try this .
Loved this video! Always good to know how to revive older products and not have to buy new ones! Thanks for the great ideas! I am definitely going to use the stencil storage idea!! 🤗
Great tips, especially the Nuvo drops. I purchased a few bottles and have not used them again as they were gluggy. They must have been on the shelf for a while, something I will be on the lookout for in future but will use the isopropyl in the meantime.
For the Nuvo drops, I’ve heard that if you put it in between a warm part of your body ([covered]armpit, or behind the knee, lol 😆)to warm it up, helps too! It should flow better. 😀
Keep a little craft journal nearby and write stuff down so you don't forget how you did something or tips and stuff others shared. I'm just starting to do that and I know it will help me
Wonderful tips and tricks, TY! I find cleaning out the tips on the Nuvo drops also helps…I think the product dries out in there and messes the rest up. A refresh with your alcohol trick is a lot less mess!! And the dyi shimmer paper… magnificent!! Love your videos!! 👏🏻👏🏻😀👍🏻🌷💖🌻
Thank you so much Ann!!! Much needed advice on everything you did!!! Beautiful embossing on the lavender card stock and the green color!!! You are awesome Ann 😊💐💖
Thank you for all the tips and tricks. Very good information. I have lots of those little pearl drop bottles and they are going to get the alcohol treatment. 😊🌸
I’ve loved all the tricks and tips, brilliant! I would have tossed out those Nuevo drops! I especially liked the bin where you keep your card bases ready to go, so convenient! Thank you!
Love all your tips and tricks! Thank you so very much for sharing them with us. We all can definitely use all the tips we can get. Money and times saved. Can’t beat that. 8-)
These tips are fantastic! I have a few Nuvo drops that are basically useless (like yours were). I can't wait to try your tip. I'm also fascinated by all of the uses you get from glycerin. Thank you so much for sharing these! I've saved this video because I know I'll be going back to it often.
Lovely video Ann , some of the tips I was aware of but it dosnt harm to be reminded of them . Cos I for one always forget them . Lol . Adding the alcohol to the drops I would never have thought but I used to do it with nail polish , so it stands to reason it will work . But i would never have thought of it. My favourite is the frost white paint on cardstock that is complete genius . You are sooooo clever thinking of these things , you mind must be ticking over all the time . Thank you so much( for sharing Ann xx
