    "They pulled the chord."
From what happens next, I assume they were near one another because they teleported together.
Strangely, people that work for the FBC pulled the cord near each other/together. I would think one person would be at the other end of the room with a riot shield when another simply attaches a string to the cord to pull from outside.
They are lucky they didn't summon an angry lightbulb from evil Ikea-land or some other wild consequence.

I’m assuming it’s a pocket dimension which can be used for fast travel sort of like how the nether condenses space 1 block would be equal 8 in the overworld

[spoilers alan wake 2] there's a oceanview hotel in alan wake 2 and when Alan enter the 665 room he sees jesse and Darling in TV, i think that ocenview is inside the dark place

Not exactly, the dark place is essentially a collective unconscious, but the ocean view from what we can tell isn’t just in the dark place, it takes many forms and names but there’s similarities with each iteration. The hotel in Alan’s playthrough is pretty close to the motel that Jesse finds but its differences are either sprung from Alan needing it to be different for the narratives sake(finding Zane and the murder site) or it’s different from the fact that it’s manifesting in the dark place, or it’s a combination of both, but we also see in sagas playthrough that there’s a ocean view that she goes through as well only this time being an old war bunker that’s flooded and that kids go to party in. The difference with sagas is that it doesn’t have nearly any similarities with either ocean view except for its name and the fact that it in some ways resembles a labyrinth, multiple ways to go through the place wind up taking her to the same spot leaving her with little options. Now you might say that the ocean view in both previous manifestations doesn’t have a labyrinth like quality and that’s true but they are anomalous areas. A place of power, that follows strict rules for the people inside. Sagas ocean view is an overlap so it doesn’t exactly take place in or out of the dark place. It takes place in both. Maybe we’ll get more answers with the upcoming dlc.
