Halifax-based Uber driver reactivated with UFCW assistance

Dhavalkumar, a Halifax-based Uber driver, is back on the road after being reactivated on the Uber platform with the help of UFCW Canada.
Dhalakumar was temporarily deactivated due to an issue with one of the security documents Uber requires for drivers. He contacted UFCW Canada and a representative was able to assist him with the required documents to help him get reactivated and back on the road.
“Thank you UFCW!” Dhavalkumar said in a recorded video message.
Through UFCW Canada’s historic agreement with Uber Canada drivers can access representation services from UFCW Canada to assist with account deactivations, licensing issues, background checks, and other matters.
