@@gian2074 One thing I've wondered in this whole playthrough is the menu that tells what you've found on the left, plus a controller diagram showing your inputs. Is that something I can get for my own personal use? I just like to see my progress checked off step by step is all.
The controller input viewer is a web plugin that you can find by googling "gamepad viewer". The window on the left instead is an autotracker I made on cheat engine that automatically tells you what items you have collected I can post the tool on discord if you need it
Hey Gian, I've been wondering. Since LoI has a fixed camera perspective most of the times, do you think you could do "out of bounds" secrets ? I always wanted to see some rooms from another perspective since I was a kid, specially the save room. Thank you, love your videos

It's for an unprofessional video I'm making on various unused content for a range of Castlevania games.

@gian2074 1:17:57 did you think the Ramen item should have spawned?. I'm not sure if it is changed in Crazy mode, but I know in regular it would not if you kill the 'ball' even if you got the last group with it.
It'd be better if only the key items are swapped, not stuff dropping from enemies and candles, drops from anything breaks the game, meaning you can just enter a room, kill enemies and destroy candles all day till you get everything.
I think drops are fine but some items need to be banned from the pool, like HP Max Up etc. I agree with the candles, I think they should also only have randomized subweapons at best. Another thing I would like is having bosses drop progression.
There are several things I wouldn't consider 'key' items (items needed to beat the game) that I feel would be better to be randomized as; I feel like doing only those (required to beat the game) is too little, right now it might lean more towards too much (it is still being worked on). if it reset what you got from the enemy every time you enter a room then you in theory could just grind one room, but there are several things in the game that still only have 1 place you can get them... that could be a specific enemy drop (most likely to have more than 1) or a specific candle (if it is in a candle and is an important item it will only ever be found in that one candle because there is only one in the game and I didn't add additional 'key items' to it. (if there were more than 1 in the randomization pool then there were more than 1 to start with in the game)
@@gian2074 It might be better to reduce the amount of HP Max Ups (or other power ups) that are in the pool to make them less likely, as in general the amount currently being randomized is the amount that is in the game by default, they can just land on repeatable items... I felt like the sub-weapon candles were 'fair' as the map always tells you the candles are there. (there is one that should likely be removed). we will add boss drops 'soon', likely the next thing after hints. (but I'm going to have to figure out what items to add duplicates of to the pool probably)... we will work on logic eventually.
@@Casj-uk5rw I meant items like relics, whips, souls and stuff that are already on the ground waiting for you to pick them up. Maybe like the one from SOTN randomizer that makes relics and powers random only. Im not judging or anything, amazing work you're doing, keep it up!
@@nightmaregats I still feel like that might end up being too little randomized... (by default you need:, "e Tablet, Red Orb, Curtain Time Bell, Yellow Orb, Blue Orb, Green Orb, Purple Orb, Svarog Statue, Vampire Killer, VI Tablet, IV Tablet, and Dragon Crest" only), but I guess we could end up making a few different modes/settings. Like we said: it is still being worked on as we figure out exactly what we want to do with it...
