I'd like to think if this was already part of the original game back in 2005, then maybe it would have gotten something like 80-85 instead of 70 on metacritic.
@@gian2074 Yeah, I agree, nowdays is seems like the user score is significantly higher as well but THIS is easily the coolest fan-made thing I've ever seen haha Wouldn't even mind to do an unoffical enhanced curse OST for it just because so much effort has been put into this already^^

Something I just realized: The stealing skill should appear just before Crazy Armor. That you HAVE TO go back through Boss Rush to get it, and it's already from Red Ogres, is unnecessary imo. Think about it! One last skill, and it throws the first boss at you!
I ran out of spots to throw in new items in Abandoned Castle so that's sad. But it's not a huge deal imo, as you said Red Ogres already give Galtite so it shouldn't be a big problem. You can't craft anything before Forest of Jigramunt with Galtite anyway. From a completionist side, I'd say it's still not a problem because you have to do boss rush anyway to get the Music Box and you have to steal from St. Germain since you get the mage at the end of the game. Or you choose the Thief class and start with Steal from the start of the game.
i asked in an older video if you would make it compatible with the pal release so, even if the explanations and the program its in english, at least the entire game will be in spanish and another languages. Did you check that or still have to do it/test it?
Still have to test that, but since the script supports offsets to make pcsx2 1.7.x work, that immediately solves the pal compatibility as well. So 2.0.0 will almost surely support pal versions, unless something wack happens

hi dont make the music work, the only thing different i see is ,in the castlevania enhanced curse .exe i don have the music volume option, instade of that i have , soundless (important) :Soundless.mp3 any idea? i still need cheat engine? i don have it installed
The music volume option has been removed because it didn't change the sound effects volume. You have to change the volume in sound mixer options in your pc's settings, the manual tells you how to do this. As for the music, make sure the directory path ends with / Like this: D:/Music/ If you have issues do not hesitate to join the discord. There's a help channel and you can send screenshots there

That's explained in the manual. Essentially what happens is that this mod, which is made with cheat engine, needs to write stuff on memory for it to work because it's a mod that works in runtime, meaning that it changes things WHILE playing the game. This mod was made with a hack tool (cheat engine) which can be harmful in the wrong hands, but there's no malicious intent beneath this project, it will only target the emulator memory. Despite that, most AV's don't like ANYTHING that tries to write in memory, so they flag anything that does that as dangerous, even if the program is harmless, causing false positives, like this mod. I hope this explains it clearly

The script adapts to any offset, so PAL and JP should be easy to support. I have to see if the weapon descriptions are not messed up however, due to different string lengths

Had a hard time finding the 32 bit nightly branch (as seen at 3:33), will there be a link to it on github? or can i use a 64 bit branch too?
A pcsx2 build will be included so you don't have to trouble yourself finding the right one

I tried to grab it from the link you provided (not the discord) and for some reason the megaupload file gets flagged by my pc as "PUA:Win32/HackTool"
