Going to be honest. Watch your video, passed at the end like you said. Less then 10 seconds mastered it. Was able to pick up all baby chickens I own. Thanks
That’s the friendliest rooster I think I’ve ever seen. I was at a fair once and a man was getting his big American game rooster out of his cage and the whole time he held it, it was nonstop pecking and ripping at his other arm. I can’t stand a hateful rooster
Thank you for this tutorial 🙏🙏🙏 before watching this just tried to hold my chicken and now my arm is scratched up and bleeding but now I know how to hold a chicken
My chickens absolutely HATE this! XD they are perfectly calm being held any way EXCAPT THIS XD they really hate their legs being thouched so its kinda understandable
Yea you and your pet chicken are getting along well aren't you. You wouldn't be standing there all calm and comfy with one of theses free range roosters over here in Georgia. I bet you couldn't get a Hen t act that dorsal. People do not, I repeat do not try and handle a Full grown free range rooster that has never been picked up before like that. LOL
My Plymouth Rock is so jumpy but I managed to finally pick her up and have her chill. Slightly vocal but calm. Thank you for this video.

That’s awesome!
"if I dangle you from the empire state building, you'd flap your wings too"
Good idea too flap your wings you don’t want to take fall damage yikes I better flap my wings.
🤣🤣🤣

Excellent!! I am including your video in poultry workshops I give in Iowa regarding how to examine your chickens. Thank you for sharing it!!
I love chickens 🐓.
Good to know cousin😉how about one on how to even get close enough to grab one and pick it up off the ground
Other videos talk about restraining the wings. This looks so much better. No wing flapping at all.
Exactly!

Thankyou! This helped me a lot when I hit new chickens an old needed to bathe an treat them. It was surprisingly undramatic thanks to this grip
Excellent video! From Holland I say: "Thank you!!"
I already knew this but I had to come back because he looks so silly when being held
Worked really well for me
Thanks for the info. I was holding my chickens backwards, with their head out past my hand.
Me literally had a chicken beside me
Great demonstration! Thank you. Quite different from the poultry rodeo that happens when I try to corral a bird.
Do I have a chicken?
No
Did I suddenly got curious and wanted to know how to hold a chicken in case I encounter a chicken that needs to be held?
Yes
Thank you for this video.
Thanks for sharing!
