MEGA ANDREA | Livorno - Golfo Aranci 22-23/04/2023

ITA: Viaggio a bordo del MEGA ANDREA di Corsica ferries e Sardinia ferries tra Livorno e Golfo Aranci la sera del 22 aprile 2023. Il traghetto appartiene a una serie di navi nordiche che hanno navigato nel mar Baltico dalla fine degli anni ottanta fino ai primi anni duemila. Dopo aver navigato sotto bandiera finlandese, svedese e lettone con Silja Line e Tallink, la nave, allora Silja Festival, è stata poi acquistata da Corsica Ferries e Sardinia ferries nel 2015 dopo aver acquistato nel 2008 la gemella Silja Karneval, poi Color Festival, oggi Mega Smeralda. La nave è partita alle 20.00 lasciando il porto di Livorno nel quale si possono ammirare il traghetto Liburna (servizio giornaliero per Capraia), la Moby Wonder (partenza delle 22.00 per Olbia) e le Moby Vincent e Moby Corse in sosta invernale nel bacino Cappellini. Durante la notte la Mega Andrea ha navigato fino al largo dell'Isola d'Elba a circa 12.5 kn, per poi proseguire a 18.5 kn circa fino a destinazione. L'arrivo nel porto di Golfo Aranci, dopo circa 12 ore di navigazione, è avvenuto alle 8.00 come da orario invernale domenicale programmato.

Mega Andrea belongs to a serie of ships that used to sail in the Baltic Sea from the last eigthys to the first years of 2000s after sailing under swedish, finnish and latvian flag with Silja Line and Tallink. Mega Andrea, at the time named Silja Festival, joined corsica and sardinia ferries fleet in 2015, after purchasing the sister ship Silja Karneval, than Color Festival and now Mega Smeralda in 2008. Ship departed Livorno port at 8 pm. In the port of Livorno you can see Liburna (daily service to Capraia island), Moby Wonder (10 pm service to Olbia) and Moby Vincent and Moby Corse during the winter stop. During the night we sailed at about 12.5 kn till Elba island and then at about 18.5 kn. We arrived in the port of Golfo Aranci, Sardinia, at winter Sunday's schedule time 8 am after 12 hours of navigation.
