Hi, I know your video is now almost 4 years old, but where did you get he mirror as £70 seems a pretty good price. When I went to my local Triumph dealer Webbs they wanted an extortionate £130 and this was about 5 years ago. So I never bothered and have been using black insulation tape to hold the mirror in place as the circular c-clip has come off the spigot inside. The rest of the mirror is fine. I've removed and dismantled the mirror and tried to get the retaining washer clip back in place, compressing and holding the spring, but have so far failed. Looking at this CRAPPY design I can only conclude that Triumph had a special tool to assemble these mirrors in their factory as I cannot see anyway of re-attching it owing to the cast mirror mounting housing just getting in the way and being unable to grip the body of the mirror tightly enough to do this or get anything on the clip itself. Maybe you had more success in the one you repaired? Any help would be much appreciated. Many thanks.
Been contemplating about replacing my mirrors as they flap around. Might try and get a c-washer to try and compress the spring tighter but other than that there isn't any other way to tighten the mirrors on the Sprint ST.
RevvedUpBiker yes the right mirror I repaired was a lot better than before! Is it the arm that moves or the glass as there's a springy arm behind the glass that might have lost its strength!
Where did you get your wing mirrors from?
World of triumph if I remember right
Can you tell me what website you went to buy mirrors?
World of triumph mate

It's the full arm, just at the pivot joint.
RevvedUpBiker ahhhhh right yea if you can compress the spring enough to get a C washer on it might do the trick!
