Might be my old eyes, but when attaching the chain to the mast, the vid appears to show the chain being attach to the side of the mast with the single hole. but the closeup shot after installation shows it attached to the other side with 2 holes using the hole at the end of the mast. which is correct?
Hi Bill. Either side of the mast will work for attaching the chain. The side with the two holes is for the optional tide pulley, but if you aren't using a tide pulley that side will work just as well for attaching the chain.
@@billjunkman6813 Bill - Any hole will work but if I was going to fasten to the side with two holes I would probably use the lower hole of the two. In any case if you don't have a tide pulley you can use any hole.

thanks but my confusion is more related to whether to attach the chain to the end hole or the one 2 inches from the end. both were done in the video
