The biggest problem with migration outside of whales moving backwards is the C level players in the game. They get purged from competitive kingdoms with nowhere to go. So many players quit because they cannot find a C level kingdom to chill in and play more casually.
I was king for 4 kvks, and we won all 4, never had a kingdom purge, and number 1 rule was no fighting within the kd, the small guys are extremely important for fighting in z5, next king had kd purge and they haven't won since.
A brilliant idea on the season 2 style SOC kvk story. I just recommended it as well to VIP. I think by them keeping it limited to season 2 commanders/equipment, 30% troop return with no conquest or season coin rewards gives enough disincentive to the most competitive player base but at least allows for nostalgia and simpler kvk experience for others.
Introduce higher level Barbs & Forts into the Home Kingdoms after SOC 4 - For the max level Fort/Barb give a very small amount of crystals. This would encourage F2P/Low Spenders to grind/play more in off season and feel like they were better prepared going into a KvK with some crystals. (maybe put a cap on it of 5M or something too). For those higher level barbs/forts, chaining would be very hard without KvK tech and 1+1 forts wouldn't be possible either without that KvK tech. It would also promote teamwork, cooperation, and coordination in home kingdom alliances.
Wish they made this change to KvK 2 migration years ago. I guarantee a lot of my friends would still be playing. Dropping $10k to be a top competitor in KvK 1, and then becoming completely irrelevant in KvK 2 with no way to spend to catch up is such a crazy way to design a p2w game. About time they fix this.
Their buff to the pity system needs tons of clarification: So if i get "lucky" and get my rare/leg inscription the non-pity-way, i have high chances to get it on the scroll and instrument .... But what we want is Flags and Emblems ... Since i can only choose when i trigger the pity system, does that mean that a lucky pull actually wrecks me by reseting the pity-get-to-choose system ?
Best decision by Lilith as it relates to migration. Many new kingdoms can survive now and players able to get stronger. This will also reduce dead weights and zero of many new accounts just because they are not able to do half of what those 3 year account whales/f2p can do. Whales get all the top spots when they come back to kvk 2/3. now new accounts can develop with those spots and less people quitting. The only downside is that no room for improvement once in soc 5 because of the account day limit to migrate. Hopefully the matchmaking will be better.
no its so dumb i quit the game for a while and recently came back i obvs dont want to restart as i have spent lots of time on it but now i cant migrate back cos my account is way too old and im too low power to be in soc its so insesnitive

not all servers have whales with t5 in kvk 2, if we don't return to migrants to hold these players with strong accounts there will be no kingdoms fighting in kvk 2 3 and 4 anymore! They will simply migrate to the kingdom with kvk 1 whales and not fight or give up playing for more than 1 year without winning absolutely anything!

There are so many things you could fix in the armament system, and some of them are actually quite easiy fixes. They could add progression, so if you get the same type of stat you currently have, it is guaranteed to be higher than what you currently have. They could add using multiple inscriptions on a single armament, so the best possible armaments are possible to get by playing the game, and not just by hitting a extremly low % They could half the amount of recycled legendary you need to get a Special inscription from the recycle shop, that would give you more chances at getting a decent normal inscription but it would allow non whale players to actually use the shop. I have only gotten 6/8 for the special inscription and i play nearly all events for over a year now. But i need it for 5 marches. They could finally change the armament slot that is awarded in kvk shop with autarch, or just add all slots so you can build. Its crazy to think that the garrison leader in some KDs will be decided by who gets the most luck in the lottery.
If people migrate back to kvk2 for a "fair" (non cristal tech) kvk, it is then perfectly fair that they have to start in that kingdom's age to fight fairly against the others (game allows you to create new characters btw) If they migrate just to steam roll then i see no difference between them migrating and whale buying crystals.

They should allow commander recycling like the legendary equipment, you get 50% of gold heads back. Obviously this should not apply to the gold key commanders. This would help thosr try to transition to SoC
I can suggest changing the unit cost and time between kvk .So we have more fight and more kvk in Year. Also mg event rewards can help a lot. they can reward number 30 in ranking 10 golden heads for example. It's helping to have more march on the battlefield.
One thing that I have been pondering, why in the world did the devs unlock the last 3 kau karuak challenges only after ziggurat is captured?? Why? But why??
The game just needs to start the new player experience at SOC. Day 1 you get access to everything. LvD is a fine starter KvK for S1. Add in Coalition features to LvD. Get the ball rolling and stop making new players invest into things they'll end up feeling bad about. They've shown us they'll never change the meta by tuning pre-soc, even early soc commanders/old S3, commanders so there's no point in making them the only option.
When I think about cross-season migration, I'm thinking about players who get a kingdom with a jumb project and they need their main accounts to win kvk 2, 3 and 4. Even whales i see they migrate in that kingdoms. Probably with these changes, seasons 2-4 will be more balanced. But I'm not so sure, anyone has an account or a farm with good commders and to migrate in that seasons. Having the allowed login days. What I would like as developers to do is make all commanders available for all seasons. But that will never be, I mean by the idea of "beginning of the game." Even if this will never be added, at least all the commders will be displayed in the game from the beginning displaying "This commders unlock at Season 3 or more" This will help new players to keep their gh, and to not quit the game form the frist when installed the game. When i start myself the game, no one tell me about new commanders who unlock after this seasons so maybe people don't say this game its fake 😂

The new kvk 2 migration update just makes it harder for me to jump back to myself. I started a new jumper to be king and now I have it, but I can’t jump to myself until kvk 4. It makes me wait over a year just to jump to myself. I think special migration should supersede the rules so maybe kingdoms can have 3 bigger players jump to them. I don’t know what else to do.

Which city skin should i get from kvk shop . 5% skill damage one or 10 % infa defence one .i will use 2 infa damage and 1 cav and 1 arch ( one infa will be smite based ) .i am not sure which city skin will be better
I don't think the biggest reason for the migration back to kvk 2/3 is the crystal technology.. it's more like (and you already mentioned it) not everyone spends money on this game and also some don't have all the time in the world to play this game and their accounts are not that developed, so they don't perform well.. I don't know what's going on in KDs in the end game, but probably something similar to what's happening during kvk 2/3, they just zero (or force them to leave) the ones that didn't perform well or didn't lose enough power to get better matchmaking, etc.. btw: yes, the armaments is pure BS.. it's even rigged, so it's not worth bothering with it too much..
I only play kvk 2 and 3 because they are free! It only counts the evolution of commanders and equipment, I'm a rally and garrison leader, something I'll never be in the soc because I don't spend a thousand dollars per kvk

Lillith need to implement a way were newer players get a chance to enjoy older commanders like older players did. When I started playing, there were so many commanders I didn't get to use, because they weren't worth investing in, because they were worthless because I had to face players with current meta. If their goal is to make money, why would I spend on a commander that's useless in current kvks?
I think it's the best idea, to add kvk2 in SoC or to add kvk story without crystal tech or at least make new crystal tech sistem that you can only add marches 6 and 7 and spend crystals only on that. Good for whales and good for everybody else who dont care about 7 marches
Oh dang smite in Chinese version is just heavy hit that makes scaling off of the normal attack make a lot more sense I have no idea who translated it and decided smite and heavy hit/attack are the same thing
I'd like to see a kvk2 style, non crystal tech format available - but you can only queue for it once a year AND is has NO season coins. No crystal tech, no season coins. take the crystal take pay wall out, but take the rewards and benefits from it out also. I'm a very, very low spender. I buy the mine speed that's it for crystal tech. I'd still prefer crystal tech kvks. those season coins for horns/rings are too important.
Tbh the only way my power can be relevant is by migrating my old account into KvK 2 and giving myself a new run through SOC. For starters, this removes my desire to start new jumpers (which, lets be honest, at least half of new kingdoms consist of jumpers). And furthermore, SOC is consistently going to be more and more higher damage new commanders rendering old commanders obsolete. So f2p just becomes less and less interesting. Honestly, the equipment buffs were game-changing for f2p. And the gap widened significantly. It’s becoming less and less feasible to play f2p unless you’re grinding full-time.
Dude they wanna add leveling for armaments system believe or not that’s fact, that’s why they wanna make you now able to choose which one you want inscription on , and for me when that happened it’s will be the final straw ، Developers greediness cross every lines .
id love to play kvk 2 again, i think its unfair for us that want to play kvk 2 and the devs just take it away and never play that again, maybe just make less spots for migration or a selected power
bro the amount of new players that are investing in ysg/alex/saladin/khan is insane. i know that alex works great with liuche but no new player should invest in him imo, even without wallace being introduced the answer would be going straight for scipie/liuche
It would be absolutely phenomenal if the KvK could be split into two separate categories for those who are uber-competitive and those who simply want to enjoy the overall experience in a much more casual way: 1 type of KvK has the crystal tech and the other doesn't 🤷

Here is something new for you ..😊 RESTRICTIONS in commanders and Gear when migrating back....or reduce the power gap between spenders and old players(so old players dont want to leave old kds)... I am playing also almost 5 years i have 3 full critical sets and 2 good sets but not full critical, but as i am not big spender(low to medium), i get wrecked against whales(against some feels like i have t3)....
I think talent plus 6% smite exchange normal damage taken 6% that for engineering??? And also talent in combat every 10s get 2% extra smite damage that good ???😊😊😊

If the devs “want to protect the new player experience” I strongly think they need to make Scipio Africanus a KvK 2 commander or gold key commander with his age and they need to give him museum buffs. He’s an old commander it makes sense to buff him up even if he’s still a great commander. They need some sort of gimme because tbf with the devs making Alex irrelevant again they have NOTHING to invest in and keep them engaged.

Let's be honest, these people don't like to play kvk 2 specifically. They just want easy kills from new t4 players
New kvks wont last as long nor be as fun without some whales 50 spots is enough and im not a whale 30m power

If theres a soc story that prohibits purchasing crystal bundles, i think that would lessen kvk 2/3 migrations dramatically. More f2p friendly soc kvk.

WW’s extra 40% smite dmg will work with LC’s smite AOE, so I think LC is still the primary fighting in murderballs.
Regarding Crystal tech fix could be they could make it Camp/Alliance based not individual.

Create an engineer civ so kvk1 can start with some siege even if its using gathering equipment. Get siege more involved from the get go.

If their goal is to make money, why would I spend on a commander that's useless in current kvks?
Kd with KvK2 only would be an interesting fix. Only way in is to migrate from an existing kd.

I think it's the best idea, to add kvk2 in SoC or to add kvk story without crystal tech or at least make new crystal tech sistem that you can only add marches 6 and 7 and spend crystals only on that. Good for whales and good for everybody else who dont care about 7 marches

Oh dang smite in Chinese version is just heavy hit that makes scaling off of the normal attack make a lot more sense I have no idea who translated it and decided smite and heavy hit/attack are the same thing
I'd like to see a kvk2 style, non crystal tech format available - but you can only queue for it once a year AND is has NO season coins. No crystal tech, no season coins. take the crystal take pay wall out, but take the rewards and benefits from it out also.
I'm a very, very low spender. I buy the mine speed that's it for crystal tech. I'd still prefer crystal tech kvks. those season coins for horns/rings are too important.
Tbh the only way my power can be relevant is by migrating my old account into KvK 2 and giving myself a new run through SOC. For starters, this removes my desire to start new jumpers (which, lets be honest, at least half of new kingdoms consist of jumpers). And furthermore, SOC is consistently going to be more and more higher damage new commanders rendering old commanders obsolete. So f2p just becomes less and less interesting.
Honestly, the equipment buffs were game-changing for f2p. And the gap widened significantly. It’s becoming less and less feasible to play f2p unless you’re grinding full-time.
Dude they wanna add leveling for armaments system believe or not that’s fact, that’s why they wanna make you now able to choose which one you want inscription on , and for me when that happened it’s will be the final straw ، Developers greediness cross every lines .

tbh, if it wasn't for whales migrating to our kingdom in kvk 2 we wouldn't even be able to capture the rcf
They should do a commander log in reward like COD it gives you gold keys, epic and epic heads, and legendary commanders

id love to play kvk 2 again, i think its unfair for us that want to play kvk 2 and the devs just take it away and never play that again, maybe just make less spots for migration or a selected power

Delete tree for archer, insta deletes infantry from the map and from the player's commander list, never to be used again.
bro the amount of new players that are investing in ysg/alex/saladin/khan is insane. i know that alex works great with liuche but no new player should invest in him imo, even without wallace being introduced the answer would be going straight for scipie/liuche

It would be absolutely phenomenal if the KvK could be split into two separate categories for those who are uber-competitive and those who simply want to enjoy the overall experience in a much more casual way: 1 type of KvK has the crystal tech and the other doesn't 🤷

Imagine if there weren't old players like us to protect the new kingdoms! only those who spend win! new kingdoms without spending whales will end and there will be no fight from kvk 2 to 4

RESTRICTIONS in commanders and Gear when migrating back....or reduce the power gap between spenders and old players(so old players dont want to leave old kds)... I am playing also almost 5 years i have 3 full critical sets and 2 good sets but not full critical, but as i am not big spender(low to medium), i get wrecked against whales(against some feels like i have t3)....

One strategy is to have 25 million power to return to KVK 2. There are many who do it and have full equipment and full commanders.

If the devs “want to protect the new player experience” I strongly think they need to make Scipio Africanus a KvK 2 commander or gold key commander with his age and they need to give him museum buffs. He’s an old commander it makes sense to buff him up even if he’s still a great commander. They need some sort of gimme because tbf with the devs making Alex irrelevant again they have NOTHING to invest in and keep them engaged.
