After thoroughly watching this video ten times to ensure I grasp every single point made, I've come to a momentous decision: I'm throwing all my investments into the Siege units! It's time to embrace the power of the battering ram and catapults! Thanks for the enlightenment!
Think Infantry has always been the f2p go-to troop type because it’s easy to start the game off in playing kvk 1-3 and now late game Scip/LC arguably being the best single march a F2P can run Even now in my KVK, Scip/LC is performing the best out of all of my marches
My advice for ftp and low spenders would be to stack wedge formation arms from day 1 and, after you have your 3 marches, let your collection of armamemts determine which troop type you'll continue focusing on. Strongest troop type will forever change with commander releases. Arms are the hardest thing to work on. Build off your arms
1. I don't really get why F2P are considered to have so weak equipment, playing as F2P I've got a full legendary cav set with 3 crits and a second cavalry set that's missing 2 legendary parts to be full legendary as well 2. I think it's important to point out the distribution of the stats on the equipment, cavalry get so much health from their gear that defense actually becomes the prime stat, which is not the case for the other troop types, who struggle to make a balance 3. Hot take: Huo/Joan is better than Nevsky/Joan.
Armaments, and equipment, is all based on an algorithm. F2p have to grind harder to be able to compete with spenders. A lot of f2p dont have that kind of time to afford to play a mobile game.
Infantry is best for f2p cause f2p are much less valuable in open field,so our best use is to send troops to die in garrison . Gorgo is the best garrison commander by far and will probably stay this way for a while
but the fun thing is in field the game is all about free movement and if you are stuck just having fun getting carried by your whale its not a problem for me, my opinion is just its more fun fielding than watching those boring rallies(of course I join rallies and not afraid to kill my troops but I field fight more its a game you need to have fun and Fun is in F... yeah I said it couple times..)
Actually cavalries got better low invest weapon. The Vanguard Helberd (green weapon) provides a total of 9% stats ( 5 def + 4 health). So green 9% vs blue 8%.
BROOOOO.... Liu Che ain't going anywhere any time soon. Of that, I'm certain. Dude is an absolute truck. I think dude is gonna be relevant for a loooooong time. Think about it like this. Look at guan. He's still a very field viable commander paired primary to scipio, and he came out years ago. Because he has utility along with his skill damage in his silence. Liu Che has 20% skill damage reduction AND march speed reduction, plus the target deals 10% less damage for 3 seconds after getting smacked by that filthy 5 target AoE, or when his 3rd skill pops off. He's definitely a great investment, top tier field commander hands down. Good luck!! 👍
I have to disagree with commanders being a tie. With cav it’s a much cheaper investment going 5115 Joan and 5551 William and both bring so much utility in a murderball
Imagine getting to a fight quicker just to get sad faced by an inf march. Considering inf counter cavs, on top of everything that was discussed in this video.
@@HesbonWameyo inf don t counter cav and cav don t counter archers that the biggest rok bulshit. Is what equipment and commanders and armaments you have that counts.
22:28 In more to consider, the first Season 3 commander wheel is Cavs & F2P won’t get Season 3 Infantry until 2 weeks after KvK3 has started. So all the Ruins fights F2P may not be able to productively compete in unless they invest in cavs Archers isn’t until the last week of KvK3
Very true, kvk 3 is set up so unbelievably bad that it's actually impressive. It is insane they have like 5 wheels and mges in a row that are for Constantine, khan, and tomy. Like who wants those when you are waiting to enter into kvk 3 with all soc commanders.
@@quadriplegic2789 They should just do the top 6 of each troop type for Season 3 then open the others in SoC by troop type. Or do the Season 3 Wheel/MGE as soon as you hit Season 3 instead of waiting for KvK to start That alone is why Cavs have the advantage and why its so popular its always the first wheel
@realjohnlove yup I fully agree, they also should make legendary tavern available and daily bundles available as soon as s2 ends instead of waiting again. It honestly blows my mind that such an unbelievably massive flaw that puts new players at the largest disadvantage ever is just there when it would be such an easy fix.
i go for fourth marche cavs, was harder much than going for infa or archers bcs already has on bench like ysg but cavs seems to me way better for long future
Guys would you invest Liu Che to max him (right now 5551) or get Herman P to 5551 (I just unlock). I run scipio(max) + LC & ZL(max) + ysg(max) I cannot run more armies.
What's your gear look like on both marches? If both on par, you need Herman. If not, focus your better march until your second marches gear starts to catch up
F2P PLAYERS ARE LIKE MORE OF A SUPPORT . SO IF THEY ARE IN HIGH SPENDING KINGDOMS WHERE THEY CAN GET ABOUT 10-20 GOLD CHESTS PER WEEK THEN THEY CAN EASILY KEEP UP WITH USING LATEST COMMANDERS
I wonder what your choice would be for low, mid and high spenders? Would you change your opinion? Thanks for the video! 😁 I run 2,2,1. Two infantry, two archer, one cav. My infantry is the strongest but a I am low spend.
@@OmniarchOfficial I did the exact opposite lol. But, I didn't know much about the game when I first started playing. I went with cav cuz I liked the idea of march speed. That was all it was based off of lol. I have meta marches of all troops types now though, but my best is still cav. All my talented gear is cav
@@jimibones178I went with infantry in the early game, mostly because I really liked some of the epic commanders. I stuck with it for a while, and I'd say I'm still more of an infantry main, but I branched a bit into cavs, and learned to get as much march speed as possible for my infantry. Turns out, there ARE some seriously fast inf marches, such as LC/Alex, and even Guan/scipio p if you put crit wind scars and 4 PC bonus on. And if you REALLY want to micro opt, use the Rome civ for the additional march speed. It's really sweet. I didn't realize how crucial march speed was back when I chose to play inf. But, I've effectively built marches fast enough to keep up with my Nev/Joan 😂😂😂 OK, end rant.
I think it depends on what you plan to do with it. You could probably avoid both altogether if it's for someone to pair with Liu Che, and just throw alex as secondary, and clap cheeks out there. Liu/Alex is definitely in my top 3 pairs for the murderball. Alex beefs up Liu so nicely, and drops that sweet damage increase on up to 3 enemy armies. It also drops a ton of instant proc damage, which is SICK for cheeseburgering, and the types of fights where your engaging, then pulling, engaging again, etc. I'm really not a huge fan of either Tariq or gorgo for open field. Tariq is kind of a single target stat stick for rallies and squishy, and gorgo is slow as shxt. But if you HAD to choose one, probably gorgo.
@sciencenews7587 so im thinking if you have a guan, I'd totally still run that pair in the mb, bro. Those are my exact inf pairs, LC/Alex, Guan/scipio. And the guan/scipio still trades really nicely. That silence is still an awesome utility, no doubt. Personally brother, what I would do is these 2 pairs, and then wait until the next inf release to make a decision. You don't wanna dump into 1 of 2 questionable commanders to only find out that we get a super sick inf comm in a couple of months.
Infantry is clearly the best F2P troop type. The blueprints for meta gear are significantly easier to get and their non-meta BP are still much better than archer or cav non-meta. Plus they have really solid civ choices which cav has been screwed on (last civ releases have been archer and infantry just back and forth for years with cav getting nothing). The move speed is somewhat irrelevant as you aren't doing damage when you are moving anyways so if you get caught out its better to fight than attempt to run if you can't get away either way.
I dare to disagree. Cav has been the safest to invest in. For a long time, for a good reason. You don't have to typically max them as often as you need to max Infantry commanders
Agreed, which at this moment IS the meta. There's no real good way to counter without actually having the meta. I think focusing a scipio/Liu, ZL/Herman, then waiting for the cav release to decide on who to pair with joan is probably the best bet.
