I had one. The bumpers probably weighed 500 pounds. I really liked it!

Our family had a solid medium turquoise Super 88 that my dad bought new. It had dark PINK in the stripe inset that ran down the side which oddly enough, sat it off really nice.

my old buddy said that he used to own a 57 olds super 8 when he was a lot younger, had tripower, then about few years ago he went out and found one with tri power, get this it was PINK!!!! he kept it parked in back of his service station,he sold the service station I'm not sure what he did to it...pink looked like the original paint.

Motor is wrong color! should be painted Gold. I own a 57 super 88 J2 With every available option. I have yet to see another one like it. I've owned this car since 1977

The 57' Olds really wasn't the best manufactured G.M car. I remember their life span was pretty bad compared to other makes & models. They got old fast as by the sound of an aging Oldsmobile engine is between loud tin cans and other distracting nusense agitations. Three years was about the life span of this car until the whole schematic structure started to fall apart. Not a wise investment that car projected.

I remember my dad said he got poor service out of the one we had. I was only a little 5 year old kid, but still remember the two large chrome ovals in the chrome dash! This I remember from riding in the back seat as an OLD, OLD childhood memory.
