I suggest you to try ADABANA, probably their best one so far or one of the best ones. Mayu makes a very nice and balanced use of her screams in that one, just to put more emphasis on the second halfs of the verses, and doesn't exceed. But all members really showdown their skills and the song is really enjoyable, catchy and heavy as hell at the same time. If you want to hear only Mayu's cleans, i wamrly suggest LIFE, their heartbreaking anthem, and MONSTERS (something completely different but super fun to listen to). Also, I suggest to watch them live, try OIRAN live at Naon no Yaon (avoid the "TH-cam version").

I didn't really like Mayu's "wild cat" scream at first, either. The more I have been exposed to this band, the more I like it. Their lasted album is amazing and very genre diverse. If you want something fairly different from this try the song 'Style'.

I would recommend a live video so you can get a taste of how they are live. This is a link to the rehearsal studio version of "Orian" from the Nemophila page. It show the whole band at their greatest live. Besides their originals there are rehearsal live covers of; Iron Maiden, Linkin Park, Bon Jovi, Motley Crue, AC/DC, KISS, T-Rex, Nickleback, Skid Row, Misfits, Journey. And thats about half the bands. I'll throw my vote in for "Adabana". That one is my favorite one of theirs. She does scream, but it's minimal and tastefully placed. The video production is great. Other songs where she doesn't scream are "Raitei", "Sorai", "Fighter", among others. She raps on "Style" and they even have a power ballad, "Life", if you want something a bit different.

Whenever I hear that song, it reminds me of the best parts of Killswitch engage fused into a Nemophila song and it is so much fun hearing them experiment with all these styles.

This is not one of their best songs. But, they have set the bar so high for themselves, that even this song is WAY better than 95% of the metal/rock out there. I'll suggest "ADABANA." It was the best song I heard last year. "Seize the Fate" is their latest video release. You can hear their entire new album on their TH-cam channel, but there are no videos. Other suggestions: "Revive," "Oiran" (live or TH-cam version), "Hypnosis."

I love Mayu's singing, her abilities as a vocalist are unique. They are at their best when they are all hooked up and Mayu is using her clean vocals. You did notice Saki and Hazuki using their whammy bars?
