In fact I listened to them back and forth and the similarities are fun to catch 😅 I love that they integrated the “Arin’s dad works at Nintendo” bit from GameGrumps, it makes it feel much more aligned with GG humor. The sheer amount of memes and niche internet references in this video is almost shocking, like the Zelda shirt + khakis meme from Twitter, the soyjack pointing memes and the rotoscoping of the twerking and breakdancing memes took me tf OUT. I think my favorite “retro game” mentioned was either Plerm or Mattel’s Barbie’s Adventures In Toledo, Ohio (for obvious reasons lmao). Great reaction as per usual!!
