yes! this is awesome video! thanks for doing this experiment. i think you just helped me ID my NOID red that has same golfball size and color when ripened. And it’s true that it get 3x-5x bigger if uses other pollens. thanks Richard!
I live in the Czech republic. The winters here are too cold for df. I do not have a greenhouse. My strategy is to take the pot with it outside for the hot days and keep it indoors for the cold. Could it work? Could it get me fruit? Thank you Richard.
Does cross pollination increase the size of Sugar Dragon or Pink Panther very much? I want to find a larger variety which is as early as Sugar Dragon, and I'm wondering if cross pollination would produce that result.
Hello Richard, I grow dragon fruit in pots at home and I heard that dragon fruit is sensitive to air flow. How many hours a day should it be exposed to air flow and can it perform photosynthesis with the light I use daily? I have a separate question. Can we get the same result if we pollinate the same type of pollen with different flowers?
I don’t get fruits all year. Some of these recent videos were shot a few months back. If you’re in tropical weather, it’s a bit easier to have year round
I usually have up to 4 main branches. As far as number of buds, there's no set numbers. Good flavors will depend on the varieties and also weather and nutrients
Hope you all found this video helpful!

Hey Richard…do you recommend we cross pollinate most of our dragon fruits?
Will the cross pollinated fruits taste be an improved version??
Do you have any rule for what not to do when cross polinating.
I do not. Just keep track of ones that don't turn out good so you can eliminate the options
Hi, Richard what if lot flower but didn't produce the fruit. Is male tree. Explain if you have solve this dragon fruit.
That means it was not pollinated. Did you hand pollinate?

There’s really no one answer to that. You will just have to experiment to see which produces best for you
