Trying to complete with WWE. He really thought AEW was going to be this generation's WCW. Hiring way too many wrestlers when you can't even book most of your roster.
Signing Mercedes Mone to a $5 million per year deal is LUNACY. He's going to have to match or raise that number for so many mother people now. No one in AEW is even worth $500K per year.
Making Chris Jericho a main focus of every single TV show has killed the AEW audience. Tony Khan is so clueless that they think playing into the audience hating Jericho was a good idea. Anyone with a brain could see that it would only make the backlash even worse.
Hands down The Devil. Not only was the storyline stupid, but everyone, AEW fans and haters alike, thought that having The Devil be Adam Cole was a bad idea. Even after hearing that from the fans and knowing Adam Cole was injured, they did it anyway. And then dropped the story immediately.
4 .siging ex wwe talent and not creative enough homegrown talent killed the company identity. 5 .Tony khan himself as a creative booker. 6. Not telling compelling stories 7. Booking for the sickos not catering to the pro wrestling fans as a whole. 8.push his personally favourities like jack perry and Daniel garicia as his maineventers while he has wrestlers that can elevate the company. 9 Tony khan and talent relations needs to have a eye for good talents. 10. lack of promotion and advertising Aew fight forever also the shows.
I will always say that letting Cody go right before WrestleMania 38 (I think) was a terrible idea. I mean the mystery of Cody's next move created so much buzz for where he might go next, Tony Khan basically did more to promote WrestleMania 38 (still thinking) than whatever AEW were doing that month.
Taking the best heel in the business and putting him into an unserious comedy routine/Buddy act. MJF lasted longer than anyone else in avoiding his segments turning into shit through Tony‘s terrible booking, but Tony got him in the end.
That was a really bad idea. I mean think about it: Khan claimed many times that "his life was in danger" due to CM Punk and all the rumours were going for years, then they released footage that show that all CM Punk did was knocked over a water bottle. Punk has the rights to sue over those claims.
Tony Khan thinks that the way to make a roster fresh is to guy sign more people instead of, oh i don't know, FIRING PEOPLE. Seriously: Jericho has to go. Moxley has to go. The Bucks have to go. Imagine how much better AEW would be without those snores all over every show?
I gotta be honest... letting CM Punk go isn't exactly a crazy thing to do. He was very injury prone, he wasn't drawing at all for AEW so I guess releasing him made sense. Problem is: AEW tried to ruin his name but then released footage on their OWN SHOW to show that every single word CM Punk said was 100% true.
The fans turned on cody becuse they got tired of his gimmick (now used in wwe). Everyone wanted him to turn heel. We all popped when the crowd threw his belt back at him. 😂
Siding against punk 100%. There’s tons of things they could do to be more profitable but they proved they don’t really care about that. Booking could improve but a dirt sheet mark will never compare to a student of the game that’s been trained for decades for this role. Punk was the one thing that made aew special, that one guy that was against wwe since 2013 and the fans wanted back forever. He clearly had plans to put a lot of guys over, now nobody feels over and we don’t see any of those guys. They wouldn’t all be itching to go to wwe either if they had good creative and aew wasn’t how it is now
Yh twas 2-3 years ago with Codie and I hardly rememberd, but now Joe just reminded us all so no excuse not to respond... Better to say you cba to reply 😅💯🤔
Khan had a shot when McMahon was still around and he was letting wrestlers go. He could have just copied SmackDown with ex-WWE guys. Nope just kept going full mark with indy jabrones.

Turning MJF into a comedy act.
Tony Khan trying to compete with WWE will always be his biggest mistake.
Now he's struggling to compete with TNA.
*NXT too lol
@philwalsh Your biggest mistake is breathing air. 💯
Is that you, Tony?
@@pk_1 he's putting Chris Jericho in a ladder match on free TV just to try to get a W over NXT
Making himself head of creative in AEW!
😂😂😂😂
"For the sickos"
This fool has zero experience of booking shows and picking the right talent that he could elevate but he only books his favourites.
Trying to complete with WWE. He really thought AEW was going to be this generation's WCW. Hiring way too many wrestlers when you can't even book most of your roster.
Being friends with the Cucamonga Kids

No one in AEW is even worth $500K per year.
CM Punk was worth the 5 million a year. He's the only signing that actually moved the needle.
@@KentKaliber was he really though?
Releasing the CM Punk footage was such a bad idea. Can anyone at all explain the logic in that?
“I feared for my life…”
Haha I forgot about that. That’s hilarious
Catering to the neckbeards
Having Jim Ross & Arn Anderson on your roster but refusing to let them have any input on the creative.
Konnan's dog licking its balls at the end of the clips does a higher rating than Orange Cassidy, Jungle Boy and Daniel Garcia combined

That was not well booked at all. I think literally everyone else alive would have picked Wardlow to be the Devil, not a badly injured guy.
1 Firing Punk/not firing young bucks
2. Signing NJPW wrestlers no in usa knows
3. Showing Punk choking Perry
4 .siging ex wwe talent and not creative enough homegrown talent killed the company identity.
5 .Tony khan himself as a creative booker.

Putting the likes of Orange Cassidy and Jack Perry on TV
When u push ur undeserving employee just bcoz he smokes joints with u!!! That is the most disastrous idea.
People are tired of talking about how bad that show is

A better question would be what is his best idea. 99.9% of his ideas are horrible.
Letting your vice presidents still wrestle and put themselves over other talent. Don’t let the bookers book themselves
Tony Khan created the wrestling version of the XFL, what a guy!!
Being tone deaf, giving Mercedes Monet all that money thinking he was getting Sasha Banks from 3 4 years ago.
AEW itself
Aew will never succeed with the bucks , jericho and khan making the decisions .
Doing that neck brace thing for the NFL draft. Didn’t bring more eyes to AEW and the Jags are awful
I saw the legless guy and was instantly done
TK , Tony Khan, wrestling ( savior) and money mark, yeah he’s TK , Tony khan, he’s giving wrestlers hugs and he might be on drugs, yeah he’s TK
Why again did AEW think it was a good idea to release the All In footage of Punk and Perry? 😆
That was a really bad idea. I mean think about it: Khan claimed many times that "his life was in danger" due to CM Punk and all the rumours were going for years, then they released footage that show that all CM Punk did was knocked over a water bottle.
Punk has the rights to sue over those claims.
The better question is "What did Tony 🤡 ever do right?".
Ha.
He started a wrestling company that pays wrestlers a lot of money outside of WWE.
Nobody cares about aew
The creation of Collision to be Punk’s show
Choosing the Elite/Jack Perry over Cm Punk
Worst idea was picking a fight with McMahon to try and get attention for his product.
Worst idea ever was Phil Walsh not being swallowed 😂😢
the worst thing he ever did for aew IS RINGING YOU ONTO HIS tv SHOW. yOU DID NOTHING AND HE NEVER BROUGHT YOU BACK AGAIN.
I think the whole cody thing was his first downfall
Not giving Cody the title and making him the face of AEW. Second making indy doofuses EVPs. Third trying to make your own video game from scratch.
Tony Khan thinks that the way to make a roster fresh is to guy sign more people instead of, oh i don't know, FIRING PEOPLE.

Teri Yaki….
This list be longer than Epstein and Diddy's lists combined.
AEW fans saw Cody for the fake he was and is
