Tony Khan let Cody Rhodes & CM Punk leave AEW but he thinks that Jon Moxley & Adam Cole are people who should be pushed to the top.
AEW is D-O-O-M-E-D with a decision maker like that.
In wwe when they go away cause of injury they come back in better shape . Ex - Randy orton - aj styles . Meanwhile adam cole comes back and looks like he is even smaller than 160
Problems with AEW:
1) No coherent storylines
2) Too many titles, no meaning to carry one
3) No character development
4) No ring psychology
5) Too many spots for pops
6) Huge roster, bad booking
Its sad bwcause in 2019-2021 the product was not perfect but was good...
Cody leaving was the beginning of the end , then when punk left from then on there has been no structure , no long term booking, and all of a sudden the only people being pushed are guys who are friends with the young bucks . Tony khans horrible booking because he books for himself and not for anyone else , and the young bucks throwing their political weight around is straight up what is killing aew right now and until they are gone or replaced nothing will change .
The downfall started when Cody met Tony
Started when Swole left
Like the majority have written here, it started when Cody left for bigger and better pasture. Khan choosing the Elite over Punk was the final shot. Adam Cole is not a star. He has no charisma, no physique. He doesn’t have the IT factor and doesn’t draw ratings.
Aew rurned into pwg lite in less than 3 years its been downhill since
Started when they refused to make Cody the champion. He was the franchise.
Adam Cole isn't booking himself, Tony Khan is booking Adam Cole. Tony Khan blocks out any and all negative commentary from his life, he's completely unaware of mistakes he's making.
Yup. After that Inoki chant he probably went backstage and told everyone how incredible that was. 😂🤮
@@polsdofer I didn't believe that was real until i seen it, I mean dude... how clueless.
The Devil storyline is the lowest point in AEW creative history. AEW has 200+ wrestlers on the roster yet the guy Tony Khan chose to big the biggest heel in the company was a guy who couldn't even walk.
It could have been ANYONE else. Anyone else was a better idea.
This Cole MJF flip flop is disappointing for sure
No sense. MJF never had to go full babyface to be loved
Cole flippin n floppin has no sense to it, and the promo last Wed was super flat n dumb
I love AEW but it has been more and more disappointing since Cody left
AEW was doomed when Cody left, then CM Punk leaving was the final nail in the coffin. Hardly anything has been enjoyable in AEW since punk left, those fantastic collison main events seem far far away.
I got the bread truck.. c’mon..
Cole looks like he has been on hunger strike.
I got the bread truck 🤣
Tony Khan did.
Cody leaving hit there fans harder than there parents forcing them to take a shower
Rampidge!!
Sadly tony Khan came out for that chanting
Aren't people sick of MJF by now?...
Yes TK watched a bunch of wrestling and has a good memory
BUT hes influence by the People he surrounded himself with
the bucks and omega are indies guys and like this kinda shit
Chris Jericho is in for the payday
thats why Cody left he saw this wasn't going anywhere
Meltzer's bs hype of this crap sure isn't helping
Should've started right after their first ever match when the legless guy appeared. Worst crap ever.
Disco is really hung up on how many followers people have. He judges opinion by popularity, like a typical meathead.
Miro, Black, Mathews, Andrade, Banks, Punk....televised WEDDINGS !!! That started this effect. You brought all these guys in that needed a paycheck who then did nothing but complain and start all the gossiping. You went from booking top Indy talent in 6 star match ups that exposed all the amazing circuit talent out there, to running the same silly storylines that people who arent 11 year olds in the 90's, grew out of and wanted to actually watch WRESTLING and not scripted nad reality TV nionsense. Mainstream stuff like WWE has more in common with The Chrisley's and Kardashians...than WRESTLING. More in common with Idol and Dancing With The stars that WRESTLING> It launched a wrestling network???? WRONG !!! It launched a REALITY TV SHOW NETWORK !! Their reality TV shit out sells their "WRESTLING" product. This is why you brag 10's of millions are gossiping about you on X and less than 2 million are actually watching what they are talking about on a social media where pretty much every user has like 5 accounts apiece. LOL Tony needing to be that 14 year old WCWWE fanboy and recreating what started the downfall of the maunstream wrestling product, is what started the downfall. Indy wrestling will outlive ALL this reality TV crap. It has to rely on being a product that plays out in the ring with the best quality matches, because it doesnt have the TV deals and hollywood exposure to drive a terrible narrative to fall back on.
Dam i fucked with this show it just seems they are obsessed with aew
The Punk situation left a bad taste in everybody’s mouth…that’s why I stopped watching
It was handled really badly. Showing the footage was a TERRIBLE idea.
Punk leaving was there downfall
Cole and his small size and weak physique is just a reminder of why AEW is a joke.
Stupid. Adam cole has helped aew. If anything aew isn't helping cole
The downfall started when AEW started.
