I never really was great at building but making characters is my language I would sit and make a sim make the first outfit that took an hour then just get to sports like ugh
I'm shocked my laptop could run it. But the intro part where the cats walking up the magic stairs to the desk froze - I still heard it jingle and meow, then I could play.
I love how everyone was like 'ewwee gross, i hate it' when Sasha was using the face capture--and she was just having an absolute blast with it. 🤣🤣 I thought it was freakin' cool too. Technology be going crazy.
This game is scary good, by just implementing your facial expressions into the character so that it can have your facial movements and sound like someone it’s wild.
The chewing was sooo funny 😭😭 this game genuinely looks like so much fun and omg I was GAGGED with the custom clothes that was crazyyyy anyways it’s nice to see some actual good competition for the Sims
omfg, the game looks soooo fkn good, i need to try it no matter what, this is literally my dream game, it’s like the sims and gta 5😭 but tbh, i wouldn’t be surprised if there was some shady shit or reason this game got made, because it’s korea LOL so many shady companies owned by chaebols
I downloaded it and as I expected it was a little laggy for me even on the lowest settings. It was kinda fun, the colour wheel is nice if not a little finicky. The major disappointment was I couldn't find any sort of skin details, I was trying to recreated one of my sims that has freckles but couldn't make her 100% accurate hopefully they'll get added in the full release. Still probably not going to get it though, aside from the lag I'm not a fan of how realistic it is, just not the style I'm in to.
I'm the same way, I really don't know how I feel about the hyper realistic style. I haven't decided yet if I'll get it and maybe it'll grow on me, but I might continue waiting for Paralives

@@bunnyx2819 i think people would want to avoid using any platform/game that uses genAI though, inzoi is in demo right now but when it comes out you'll still have to buy it.. if they have an unethical AI program in their game artists especially would normally want to steer clear from supporting that

I don't know why, but I don't actually like the graphics - they creep me out. Maybe it is the same reason I disliked sims 4 CC - it was just a little too 'perfect' and 'realistic'. It felt boring, and it kind of seem to lean into a new obsession with extreme beauty/perfection. I don't play sims anymore, but when I did, my character never looked perfect, and I wouldn't want to live in a simulation game of my own life and apartment. The best simulation games are those that are not too realistic, and a little bit unhinged. This is why people loved sims 2 and 3, despite the better graphics of sims 4. I am not one to tell others to dim their lights to make others feel less inadequate. And I tend to take inspiration from other peoples beauty, rather than comparing myself. But I actually think a simulation game like this have the potential to make people feel exceptionally inadequate about their own appearance and life.
All I am thinking is, I can take an hour or 2 making a sim. But a zoi... A zoi will take me so much longer, say a day xD

i think you click on face or skin tone presets and some have freckles

Every time I got to a pop up for saving things or applying an outfit, it froze and then crashed… I turned the graphics all the way down too 😢
