Thank you for sharing. Have you replaced or repaired the cables before? my cable is having connectivity issues and I am thinking about replacing the cable.
@@longtech Thank you for the quick reply. Based on what I read on various forums, many people encounter this problem sooner or later. I am always weary when it comes to soldering that might introduce sound degradation.
Is there anyway to adjust the headband on these, elastic seems to be worn and they hang low on my head , I noticed the two screws that can be removed, but not sure if there’s anything you can do to tighten this up so they don’t hang so low
I had a similar issue. You can unscrew the caps and cut the elastic down so that it doesn't hang as much as before. I would take small cuts off one end and find out the perfect amount for you.
@@azamonde I know I can order a black one and they fit. I just love the brown color scheme. Too bad you can’t find them anymore …I bet you you can have a leather maker make something up?
Could you please guide me on how to remove the dust cover from the SR007? I'm currently traveling, and from what I recall, the dust cover is attached to the earpads.
Unless your 007 is modded, the black dust cover is simply an insert in the earpads. Once you remove the earpad, it becomes clear how to remove the dust cover.
Hi! Yea, it's a finicky process to reinsert the pads. I wouldn't do it unless you have to :) it's pretty easy for me now, but the first and second time felt risky

Hi! I haven't had any cable issues yet, knock on wood. All I know is that the wires are super thin and the solder points are delicate :o

Would be cool if you could do an audio test
I just got in new pads for my 007 mk2 but I am afraid to break them taking them off lol
