“The truth walker is that you wanted to feel like something you’re not, a hero, Lugo You left me to die You needed someone to blame, so you cast it on me, a dead man. I know the truth is hard to hear Walker, but it’s time, you’re all that’s left and we can’t live this lie forever”
Walker's eyes are filled with black which is typically associated with evil. By the end of the game you cant see the whites of his eyes anymore. Drenched in the blood of those he killed, he became a monster.
His retinas are also filled with cracks showing that his mind and soul are FUBAR after the WP incident. He truly became the demon in human form. But weirdly enough you can see the whites of his eyes when he confronts Falcon One. However his irises are still filled with cracks
@@MilitaristTurkcu The whites being there during the Epilogue could represent that even with all the damage and harm he's inflicted he still has the opportunity to stop this madness and do something good, that being to surrender to Falcon One and bear the responsibilities of his actions. "Lucky you." In this context being a double entendre, on one hand it's Walkers subconscious re-assuring him he is actually lucky to be able to not pay the price in death, while also being one last remark out of spite knowing the torment of living with the knowledge of what he's done is far greater than any death.
When the game said "You're still a good person" the game is talking about the player, not about Walker because you din't did all things that Walker did in the game, you are just a player, you didn't want that was happened, so you are still a good person... ... or maybe not...
But yet we chose how to play the game... and in the ending Konrad aims the gun over Walkers right shoulder, at us. We were the true villains all along.
So was the 33rd/army soldiers actually the Dubai resistance fighters/citizens the entire time?? And Walker was really just fighting citizens the entire time? I’m so confused.
There's three factions (four, if you count the protagonists) throughout the game: 1. The Konrad Loyalists: Those members of the 33rd that decided to side with Konrad after going against orders. These are the enemies you most frequently fight and are (somewhat) lead by the Radioman. 2. The CIA: Mostly comprised of two CIA Agents: Gould and Riggs. They allied with the Resistance Fighters, though for very different reasons. 3. The Resistance Fighters: Civilians that decided to fight against the 33rd. You fight all three of them at different parts of the story.
@@MisterUnderMain After researching this game more my theory is wrong, I thought Walker was going so mad that the “fellow American soldiers” you were fighting was actually resistance fighters, and Walker was just hallucinating everyone as US personnel, and walker couldn’t cope with him massacring civilians after the white phosphorous so he just went total overboard, killing everyone and blaming everything besides himself, this also explains why the resistance fighters completely disappear about halfway through the game. (Or it’s cuz Walker killed em all/significantly crippled them in terms of numbers, therefore going into hiding.) I think that theory is way more dark and crazy, just something I thought after going in this game completely blind.
Same thing happened with Fable 1. They overhyped the game out of bounds and ofc the first reaction is to call the devs Judas and the crush the game out of existence, but then when dust settles some people find it again and see that what excellence it still has.

Damn this song slowed down sounds much more sad. Its almost like Walker cant deal with what horrors hes commited and hates himself for it.

Konrad: "No one ever does Walker."
