Thanks to you man I passed my asvab with a 79 your a life saver if you had cashapp I would cashapp you fr never gotta take that test again 1 and done ☑️
@@darkchocolate2220 I would tell you study for math it’s not as hard as you think simple math like 12 easy questions like finding x or simple fractions then like hard ones but just watch his videos on both math sections and you’ll be fine trust I didn’t study for English you really can’t it’s either yk it or not English was pretty easy except for like few but you’ll be fine if you graduated highschool you should get a 50 plus no problem just watch his AR And MK videos
Hey Colfax! I gotta say, your videos have worked again! Took my asvab today and got a 69, plus a 112 GT score, if it wasnt thanks to your vids id be in some deep doo doo😂 thank you so much!
God bless you for teaching all of us. I aced all my math classes but that was two years ago so this is good review. You've been so helpful you don't ever know.
I did my aptitude test last night. I watched so many of your videos, whether I pass or not you helped me tremendously to brush up on my math. Thank you! If I pass, I owe it to you
I appreciate these , got the bell ringer on lol. I take my AFOQT next week , do you think some of these asvab questions are beneficial to add in to some of my studying ?
Guys I haven’t finished high school and it’s been 12 years since I been in school the Navy doesn’t require a Diploma or ged but I need to pass the Asvab with a score of 50. I’m very Nevis because it’s been a while and I know this will change my life.
hey! just a question so for number 9 at the end of the problem why was 32/12 simplified before being divided unlike on problems like number 7 you just divided first. What was that difference so i know how to go about these different problems with fractions.
On the very last question with the movie ticket how did you get the .4 from the .60? Also wanted to say really enjoying the videos and they have been an incredible help so far!
Hey man just wanted to ask but not sure. I really want to get into the Air Force and really want to improve my score since its really low, its a 33 and I struggle with the math since it's been awhile since I've done it and I really want to get good at arithmetic reasoning and the math knowledge part. Do you have any advice on where I can start, or do you have any videos of yours that you can recommend that will help me start to learn. I enjoy some of your videos but I was wondering if you have a starting point that explains from ground zero.
I have a playlist foundations of math on ColfaxMath. Start right at the beginning and go through the videos with your notepad and pencil, taking notes and doing problems. Just keep working at it and it will start to come together, keep studying and learning
The app has prediction test which is very similar to actual test. The app is a very good tool to determine if you are ready to take the test or not. I personally liked it.
You can do with a proportion 8/6 =12/w. Simplify 8/6 now you have 4/3 if you divide it by 2. Now you have 4/3=12/w. Multiply 4x w = 4w and 3 x 12= 36. 4w=36. divide 36 / 4 = 9. W=9
Thanks for the videos, I passed my ASVAB last month and going to BMT in September, going PJ 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Fantastic, congratulations!

Either way works, just two ways to do the same thing
On the very last question with the movie ticket how did you get the .4 from the .60?

1 minus the point 6 gives you the point 4. Thank you, glad to hear that they are helping
@@ColfaxMath hello, sorry for questioning you on this question again but should it be point 5 then if its minus by 1 or am i missing something?
Thank you I have a week left before my asvab this helps

Hey very helpful videos one thing I noticed on this Video is that the volume goes in and out 5:24.. not sure if this can be fixed
Yes, my mistake, sorry about that
got a 32 on my asvab, been watching your videos and retake this week, will follow up how i do , i need a 47 for the job i want
Keep studying, you can do it
Is there steps before this math because im lost straight out the Gate of everything in this Video
Yes, I have a playlist called foundations of math, that starts right at the beginning

Goode to know
I’m lost on question 10, how do you know to time it by 1/2?
I times it by 1 and 1/2. 8 times 1.5 gives me twelve so 6 times 1.5 gives you 9. The 1 1/2 comes from 12/8
@@ColfaxMath that makes a lot of sense, Thank you!
Im about to take my asvab I'll update yall with my score
Good luck
@@ColfaxMath I got an 85
Can you guess the answers?
Are theree points deductions? or do I skip them
I'm not sure how the grading of the exam works

Does the microphone cut out at 4:56
Yes
Sorry about that

I wanna know if how many items are there in USAF 🤔
Not sure
For problem 4
Where did you get the 1/3 ?
Dividing by three is the same as Multiplying by 1/3. The three is from the fact that there are three numbers
@@ColfaxMathWouldn’t the reciprocal be 3/1 ?
I asked the same question. How did you get the 4???
What problem or time stamp is it?
Hey, I got a question? How do you get 9 on question 10?
The ratio stays the same. 6 is 3/4 of 8, just like 9 is 3/4 of 12
You can do with a proportion 8/6 =12/w. Simplify 8/6 now you have 4/3 if you divide it by 2. Now you have 4/3=12/w. Multiply 4x w = 4w and 3 x 12= 36. 4w=36. divide 36 / 4 = 9. W=9
Hi sir Is this Applicable for 2024 asvab?
Yes
