Congratulations, how do you study to get that score? Do any of these questions show up on the exam? Please help. I'm desperate. I score a 28 on my asavab. I need help pls
@@williamsmezidorThe logic of the questions will definitely show up on the test. They aren't going to be the exact questions but the process in which you solve them will be similar. To get a good score on the ASVAB you need to be fairly proficient in all aspects of it. General Science, Arithmetic Reasoning, Word Knowledge, Paragraph Comprehension, Mathematical Knowledge, Electronic Information, Mechanical Comprehension, and Assembling objects. Go to your library or buy a book online called ASVAB for Dummies. I used it myself and I scored quite high. Good luck

Thank you, I haven't done math in so long and I'm taking the ASVAB soon. I feel pretty confident with these little refreshers that I will do well. Math is a love hate relationship for me, I love math but it hates me lol. I got a 70 on the practice ASVAB, but I struggled on the math portion when it came to Algebra.

How was the AFCT ? I’m taking mine next week any study advice is greatly appreciated.
I am freaking out because I barely understand the basic concepts of math and I wanna get into the Air Force. Not to mention I'm running out of time to study for the ASVAB. Wish I had some help. Your videos help out a lot tho so thank you very much.
I may not be able to go to the Air Force and the Army may be my only option.

I am surprising myself by getting some of these right.. I think I just have trouble clicking in while doing the practice tests. But I’ll watch these over and over and over until I get over 25 on my practice test.

This is a practice test to see where your strengths and weaknesses are, it is not a comprehensive math class. I would note the ones you don't understand and go back to videos that teach that idea.
He Is doing a good job of strengthening your reasoning skills. Unfortunately, reasoning requires some number sense. Go back to understanding arithmetic and working with fractions, percents, decimals and proportions.
If this guys teaching style isn’t to your liking I’d recommend Grammer Hero on yt.

the thing that always gets me is the word problems
They are hard to translate the sentence into the numbers. They take a lot of practice

i have a question for number 3. how did we get from 7.5 to 0.82? and why wouldnt it be 0.80? Thank you for the content, sir.
ahh i see what my mistake was. we still need the increase from the 7.5 by 10%!
First, the 25 percent decrease followed by a ten percent increase. Thank you
#3 I understand how u got 75. Plus 10 % of 75 % which is 7.5 but I’m lost after that. What’d u do to get 82.

Am not getting the sense behind question 2 and 3 sir.
They are successes increases, you have to increase the amount by 15% get a new number and then increase that new number by the 20% problem 3 is similar
Do I need to be 20/20 vision to get in the USarmy
