The difference in a mix are those subtleties (I used to think "sometimes," now I say "always"). Yeah, sometimes hard to hear but I think overall, and I agree with you, the binaural experience is so much better than regular stereo. Thanks for watching!
Sorry to hassle you but I'm having trouble including meta-data when I bounce my ADM files. The option to apply program level meta-data is greyed out and when I open the ADM file in a new session it does not have the object position data
Yes, it is best to get a personalized HRTF, and quite easy (also free!) to do do with your phone, but generic HRTFs sound pretty good as well (recently read a study where the results where very interesting). That's mainly the difference between an actual Dummy Head (and torso in some instances) vs us being the dummy head and torso! 😂 Cool stuff!
Seems like more and more people are finally excepting the scam/fad atmos actually is..new movies/videogames mixed in Atmos yes..but older music movies listen to them how they were originally mixed
I don't think its a fad or a scam having being mixing in atmos for nearly two years now :) I can safely say its the future of music :) As for music from years past again i have disagree :) My Work buddy in The USA has just mixed Al Green and its sounds amazing having listened to the ADM masters :)
@@hardnine I personally don't get paid to mix in atmos :) So when i say it's the best form of music i have heard in my 40 years in the music industry i mean it.. I have spent a lot of money building my atmos studio not to make money but to make better music productions. Every single person that has been in my music studio and listened to amos has said the same thing ( Incredible and they never new music could sound so amazing) This is from seasoned pros to the man or woman on the street. Yes it has ways to go to be this good in headphones but it will get there and already something like 80% of people listening on apple music listen to spatial audio. If you want to make the most breathtaking music you should try it in a proper studio.

Hi there, not sure. Could be a number of things? Have you figured it out? What DAW is this? Internal Renderer?
Well Said , I use lot of these combinations in my Mixes
Thanks for watching!
For another Dolby Atmos mixing option you forgot the Dolby Atmos Composer of Fiedler Audio. 🙂
Not familiar with it but thanks so much for letting our viewers know!
Until it is easy and cheap for everyone to get a custom HRTF, binaural will hardly make sense to the average man.
