The fact that you said that you can’t personally relate to this song but you’re able to talk about this issue so accurately is mind blowing. I can strongly relate to this song and a lot of other people can too. This is my reality, and you are able to analyze and describe it so perfectly without actually having to go through this feeling. It is unbelievable how accurate you were. One of the best reactions I’ve ever seen. Keep up the good work.
I’ve watched idk how many reactions to this song and you are the first person to point out that he (the monster) isn’t chasing them, they’re chasing him… That’s legit AF bro! Mad props!
I totally agree. There are a lot of reaction videos where it is that they just don't get it or it is based on little knowledge of RR - He went through some tough stuff. He is working it out. He is not just a singer in the band. His lyrics tap right into what his demons are. Unfortunately there are people who expect what they want instead of embracing the reality - The band is great - RR is a book he has opened and we want to know more. He went from an uncomfortable place to develop something quite wonderful. Metal heads are divided, death metal are confused. Rapsters sit in between. He atracts haters but has also flipped peole to maybe accept genres they were not into. That is not a bad thing. At all,
Sir, you're reacting to one of my favorites songs of all time. Mixing rap, metal, falsetto, and screaming puts me right in the middle of heaven. Ronnie is a genius artist. He wrote the lyrics, wrote the music, mixed the whole thing, it's his vision behind the video (which in my opinion is like watching a great, epic movie). His hands are in every part of what the group does. The band is phenomenal in my opinion and don't get close to the recognition they deserve.
ive been diagnosed with Manic Depression this week. the constant battle I have with being confident, outgoing and fighting a lion vs shutting down, hiding and isolation; the battle of being loving other and myself vs dead eyes, feeling nothing; the constant battle of battling my own dark thoughts, escaping my past, the trauma I suffered as a child, and my multiple suicide attempts with my pain killer addictions. this song is so accurate and music truly is a way to express. Like you said, its something that awakens us and can push us to win the battle.
When you struggle with mental illnesses the first time you realize there are other people that share your struggle it offers some small amount of comfort. But you are the first person I have ever heard that is speaking from a place of understanding looking from the outside. The hope that gives someone like me. Maybe the world can understand and one day people will get the help they desperately need.Thank you for that.
This is about the reaction id expect from a first time listener to FIR... Ronnie Radke/Falling in Reverse is its own genre i swear. i immediatley fell in love with this channel and almost instantly subbed when he had to stand up and take a step back for a minute lol
I heard their new single "watch the world burn" without ever hearing of them, and instantly fell in love with the band. Aside from the fact the songs are all bangers, there is a meaningful message behind every one of them. It's easy to get caught up in the video and genre mixing, as they're amazing, but the symbolism of what you're seeing to the words of the songs and its message is on point. Great interpretation of this video by you on a first take. Keep up the great work
Wow. For a first timer listening to FIR and for someone who doesn't have any personal mental health struggles, you seem to have a deep understanding of those struggles and how the failure of the mental health system can make people want to just explode out of frustration. Yes, that was his daughter who he's said helps him stay grounded. Great reaction. Subscribed!
Your recognition of how the pain of depression piles up despite you not necessarily experiencing it is so spot on. Thank you so much for such a pure and genuine reaction of true humanity.
It's the song that got me too, yes that is his daughter Willow who touched his shoulder. I certainly hope @Ronnie Radke sees your reaction as he's known to look into peoples reactions to his music. What about those theatrics, huh? I'm amazed and blown away every single time!
Bro this is a great reaction to this video. I'm coming to this late but it is definitely one of the best reactions I've seen to this video. Very insightful. Great job. Ronnie's music is integrated with multiple sensory outputs. That's the reason he has spent so much time and resources in creating these masterpieces. He can embed his emotions into the sound, but with the addition of the visuals, it raises the experience to a whole new level. Cutting edge production and genius orchestration has facilitated this. Congrats to Ronnie and all his crew, and congrats to you my friend for the understanding and expression.
I don't comment much, but man, I have to say something. You're interpretation is so on point and I was excited to hear your thoughts every time you paused. This is one of my all time favorite songs and bands. This is the first reaction I've seen from you and I will be happy to come back for more because you sound like a smart guy and I appreciate your insights.
This is the most beautiful, astute, and eloquent reaction to this song I have EVER seen, and I've seen well over 100 at this point. For me, when I heard this song for the first time, I realized I'm not the only person who feels like this, and it felt like my life's story was being told as well. Instant subscription from me!! Ps: I really hope Ronnie reacts to your reaction ❤️
I hope Ronnie(the singer) saw your reaction, cause that "Shit in my ass!" almost made me spit out my food! XD Ronnie screaming the word "Terrified!" gives me chills. Every time.
I think the mixture of sounds and genres, is not only to showcase their talents, but also to show how "crazy" "mixed" up a person dealing with these issues go through. This sort of back and forth, and "all over the place" aspect.
I heard this song my first year into recovery from heroin. I've felt this song the moment I heard it. Along with all of his other songs. Ronnie and Tom have been a huge part of my recovery for the last 3 years.
I so relate to this song, never been a fan of Ronnie but this song is pure amazing. He explained what goes on in someone's thoughts. I agree with everyone you nailed it. Voices in my Head is another amazing song. Ronnie nailed it.
One thing i want to say is that i think you would highly enjoy the trilogy, The Drug In Me Is Reimagined, and Im Not A Vampire Revamped. Falling in Reverse is amazing regardless imo.
I think that if you react to Falling in Reverse - "the drug in me is you (reimagined)", you should really react to Falling in Reverse - "the drug in me is you" first, that way you can see how the band has evolved
Ok Ronnie Radke says this song is mostly about being backed into a corner, and what happens when a wolf is backed in a corner? He attacks, rage, etc. Its also mainly about social media and how people argue and then canceled etc. But that's what he says it's about, media lying, social media, cancel culture, depression. Etc. He's a genius been listening to his music for a while.
I remember hearing this song for the first time in my car and having to almost stop to see what it was called. I immediately went home and listened to it 3 or 4 more times. It is a masterpiece.
I'm so glad, you finally gave another of my three favorite artists (besides Tom MacDonald) a chance. Here are some facts you might find interesting: Tom was supposed to tour with Falling in Reverse in 2019. Unfortunately it got cancelled because the fiancee of FiR guitarist Derek died from cancer (Derek died a few month later) Ronnie Radke, the singer, practically IS the band. Writing all the music, recording parts of it (he plays guitar, drums and piano), making all decisions Ronnie's main influences are Queen and Eminem Ronnie recorded a rap mixtape some years ago with a lot of featured artists, to give it to his fans for free Ronnie is quite the character, calling haters out on social media, making tik toks about them, etc. Plus: he's a gamer on twitch The chorus of Popular Monster is about how the media paints him as a liar, cheater, etc and hunts him until he's backed up in a corner, snapps and give them the monster they "wanted" him to be Ronnie had a pretty tough start in life and is working constantly on himself to become a better person (and he got therapy for PTSD, depression, anger issues) Most of Falling in Reverse songs give room for personal interpretation, but are about Ronnie's deepest feelings, insecurities, past trauma, etc It would be awesome if you could check out his solo tracks Fair Weather Fans, Destiny and A*hole (the first 2 to learn more about Ronnie's past, the 3. just because it's funny). You probably won't get that many views for them, so I get if you might just want to check them out in private. Please check out the trilogy by Falling in Reverse: Losing My Mind, Losing My Life, Drugs and after that The Drug In Me Is You and The Drug In Me Is Reimagined in one video. It's basically the same song but completely reimagined 9 years later. Ronnie owns all his music and loves reactions. If you check out his newest track Zombified he might watch your reaction live on his twitch channel. But his label might give you copyright issues anyway. It seems to work for a lot of reactors to reverse the video like a mirror (how do you say this in English?) and you can always try to contact Ronnie and ask him to help (doesn't always work when he's busy). As always: Grüße aus Deutschland
Nice thanks for the insight on Ronnie. And you said it right it’s called mirroring an image. And I will checkout the trilogy in one video. So much to learn about Ronnie and FIR. Sad to hear what happened to the band member and his fiancé. Thanks for the very detailed message. This helped a lot to fast forward my knowledge on Ronnie! I appreciate it. Danke wie immer Freund!
Holy moly I completely forgot about that mixtape. I played it on loop for an entire summer, showed it to anyone who would listen. Ronnie just gets more and more inventive every project.
Lol your reaction was fuggin priceless when it transitioned the first time. You litterally had to go take a lap for that one. Beautiful reaction my guy and also quite a scary accurate breakdown.
Great reaction.. I was hoping u do this eventually... love watching people's first time hearing them! Ronnie was in a very depressive state when he wrote this song... and yes, that was his Daughter Willow, she's his saving grace, but gotta check out The Trilogy next- " Losing My Mind", "Losing My Mind" & "Drugs"...
I really have been enjoying what FIR is putting out, it really feels like Ronnie is being so genuine in his song writing and the videos are amazing too. I remember when he was in prison and a lot of the ETF fanbase just turned on him and I can't imagine how it'd feel to go from supported and loved to a monster overnight. There is so much sincerity in the lyrics, I love it
Just stumbled on to your video, great review. I think this song hits so many of us because overcoming those obstacles to better mental health sometimes only adds to the frustration and anger. As a younger generation we are struggling against the bad habits of our parents who didn't teach us the coping skills we needed to do better. I found that toxic values of my boomer parents created a cage, from which trying to find relief from my depression and anger was impossible. It was only when I stepped out of that artificial boundary of blood is thicker than water nonsense, that I realized I couldn’t find relief to a pain with one hand still in the fire. The video is definitely powerful, and again resonates as our children are often that lifeline we need to pull us back. The lyrics and video absolutely require multiple passes to take in, a different experience than just listening to the song alone. Again, great review.
Wow, this is one of the best reactions to this song I have watched. To me, you are spot on on so many levels between the music, the lyrics, the filmography, etc. To me the little girl is what keeps him attached to humanity.
Lol..”what the hell…shit in my ass” 🤣🤣🤣🤣 dyin 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I loved your reaction! Next the Trilogy..Losing My Mind….Losing My Life…Drugs. Latest release is Zombified….Welcome to the genre Ronnie Radke 🔥🔥❤️🇨🇦
@@TooBlunt “I’m not a Vampire” and “The Drug In Me” each have 2 versions…originals were poppy rock. Then Ronnie redid them both in completely different formats…same songs…incredibly redone…I’m Not A Vampire Revamped….and The Drug In Me Reimagined. I suggest you do double headers…the pop rock version then the redo….it’s the only way you will truly get the genius and talent! That would get tons of views 😉🔥🔥❤️🇨🇦
The only commentary you needed to give, you gave with your eyes and utter disbelief of what you just heard. I fell down the FIL rabbit hole a few months ago (not a youtuber), but Ronnie is just a special talent. Keep following the rabbit hole, you won't be disappointed.
Your reaction was on point. This is my favorite band. He’s speaking about his life. He’s been through hell. I have the upmost respect for him & for you for getting it. Thank u.
Wow... Ive known this song since it came out and just now realized the meaning of his daughter in this video... It represents how she possibly has seen the monster inside, which no father wants their child to see. When your daughter comes up to comfort you just like she did in this video. It changes everything. It makes EVERYTHING better cause you just want to be there and be the best for your kids. He has a realization when she comforts him. Trust me, I know from experience with my kids... Its hard to put into words, but hopefully I got my point across.
My word young man. I stumbled across you looking for falling in reverse reactions that I had not seen. I have watched so many. I'm just floored that you're a State observation not only of the music but of the entire story being told. Such an articulate young man and in tune with the music that Ronnie Radke so passionately gives to us
DUDE! I usually super avoid reaction videos but watched this for some reason. you actually REACTED, but not only that, you totally GOT the song. I'm really impressed! this was a really great video. congrats.
So, I watch a lot of reactions. I've watched a lot of reactions to this song. Honestly yours is probably my favorite. The way you've understood this song and the message behind it, and your explanation was insightful and empathetic. Fuckin nailed it my guy.
Bro I just found you and I love you and appreciate you existing so fucking much. I love Jinjer and Falling in Reverse, Ronnie and Tatianna are amazing all around people. I’m glad you got this chance to listen to them and you actually understand what the song is saying instead of just bobbing your head, thank you ❤️
Damn bro, I’ve seen tons and tons of reactions to this song and yours is definitely my favorite, most of the reactions I’ve seen are people jamming out and talking about how cool and different the song is, which I agree with, but there’s also a message and almost a cry for help in these lyrics. And you’re the only channel I’ve seen actually analyze and speak on them. Much respect my friend, you’re awesome!
But wait! There's more...! Love FIR, have fun. And yes, I think that was his daughter. Their most recent video is Zombified, another great song. They have quite a few.
I just found FIR’s music about a month ago. I had their most recent release Voices on my playlist but now I’ve gone done the Falling in Reverse rabbit hole. Thought I may like some here and there. No. I LOVE ALL of them. Ronnie Radke is SO freakin talented. Your breakdown is great. I’ll add this: “Im falling into love now With falling apart”. Is 99.99% missed. I missed it til I read a comment section and was like hmmm. I hope Ronnie saw yours and he reacts to reactors, which I find GENIUS. I’m now subbed and will check out more of your content. Rock (Rap?) on 😂
Loved watching your face and mouth in amazement!!! Probably how mine looked my first 3 times watching this one ! Just wait Ronnie will roll you with more amazement
I am liking your reactions - you really think about the songs and the lyrics. I watched an interview with Ronnie recently about his time in prison which left him with PTSD. I admire him for getting on with it and creating such great music. His lyrics are all really personal. My favourite line is falling in love with falling apart... it's what we do ...
Every song Ronnie gives to us is another story being beautifully presented with emotion and love in the art of music he is so talented and you should look more into his stuff my dude
Congratulations! You just got it. The one and only person that I ever heard making perfect sense! Ronnie is an incredibly talented singer and writer. It is very disappointing that he has continuously been ignored. There are so many artists who are on the scene who are miles away from his talent. I'm glad you saw this.
You have given the best and most accurate description in your reaction that I have seen so far. I truly believe you understand that the Monster is what society loves to hate. It Loves to create it and then destroy it to make themselves the hero! Hence “Popular” Monster. Also the pandemic of mental health these days has become its own monster!!!
You got a new subscriber just for this reaction. You understand the problem better than most of the drs I've been to in my life. And welcome to Ronnie Radke. He's fucking real and amazing. He IS his own genre...
Add one more suggesting the trilogy. Every time I see the "Popular Monster" vid I get so hyped during the bridge / breakdown, I get all over chills building up knowing what is coming.
Bro... I Love Ronnie Radke I have for a long long time... I have watched endless reactions to his music. I have watched lots of people discover his talent and insights...You, have the quickest intelligent correct thought process on where he is going. Very insightful, very good reaction. I didn't even mind that it was longer then normal. Thank you. Now you have to go react to more of Falling in reverse. Subbed.
This is probably one of the best reactions I have seen to this masterpiece. From you interpretation, discussion, and actual reaction. It was all great to see! Keep up the great work.
Ronnie has been though a lot. Years ago he was involved in an altercation/fight out in the desert. Someone died. He didn't do it, but because he was there, he received probation, he winded up Breaking probation to do a show with his band,Escape the fate. Due to breaking probation he went to prison for 2 1/2 years. His band dropped him. He formed Falling in Reverse while in prison and wrote all the music in prison. He has since made a huge effort in getting his life together. He is working though his anger issues. He credits his daughter Willow for grounding him and changing his life. He's been clean for many years, no drugs or alcohol. He also has been with Paige a WWE wrestler for many years. She is in one of his videos, I'm not a vampire revamped. He works out a lot and even has changed his diet. He has a twitch channel and talks to fans a lot. He also loves to react to youtube reactions of his songs. He may react to yours. Ronnie is a genius. Everyone has already told you to react to the trilogy. You should also react to I'm not a vampire and I'm not a vampire revamped The drug in me is you and the drug in me reimagined He did the first songs 10 years ago. The revamped and reimagined were a a thank you to fans who stuck with him for so long. Same exact song done in a completely different way. They are masterpieces. Really shows Ronnie's growth. He also dropped another song about 2 months ago, Zombified. Its amazing too. Sorry for the long comment. Thank you for your awesome reaction. New subscriber!
There are a couple of things in your post - and I am not knocking you in any way. but they are slightly incorrect. There is a really good interview with him I found recently on TH-cam where he talks about what happened. I can try and find it in my history if you like
this song broke the radio waves when it first came out. I still listen to it atleast once a week. Its really sad this is ronnie screaming to everyone what hes gone through in his life and his head.
First of all, congrats. You're doing great work. Second, this sound is the song I listen to when I'm angry and need to vent but have no one with which to vent. I get really tired of people saying "It's going to be even as we both know it's not.
"It would be disrespectful for me NOT to play this back"
BRO MUCH LUV FOR THAT CONTEXT ALONE! 👊
The fact that you said that you can’t personally relate to this song but you’re able to talk about this issue so accurately is mind blowing. Agreed!
I completely agree! Amazing reaction.
Sorry for the late reply here. Thanks for sharing :) I hope you’re doing better as the days go by
I feel this everyday and I agree so accurately love this song and band
That is his daughter. You need to go down the FIR rabbit hole! Ronnie is a genius! Loved your reaction!
Coming Home by Falling in Reverse was the first song i heard of theirs. That song apparently was about his daughter 💜
The rabbit hole runs deep with Ronnie's music. This song and a few others tell a story.
That’s a rabbit hole worth digging for sure
This song feels like it came directly from my brain. It has been how I’ve felt for as long as I can remember.
I still get goosebumps and a smile on my face watching new peoples mind be blown by this song. 👏

This man’s delivery in his songs... Big sound and lyrics that make you feel. This music is real.
I fully agree with you !
I've seen over 100 reactions to this song and your explanation is on point! I wish Ronnie would react to it. He watches a lot of reactions
Thanks for the feedback :) there’s gonna be a lot more FIR coming

Doesn't Ronnie have his own engineers and producers?
Ronnie doesn't have a band. He does everything then he hires people just for tours , He is truly an amazing artist but above all he is a great person.
@@davidvann2814 yup ronnie is falling in reverse

Lol your reaction was fuggin priceless when it transitioned the first time. You litterally had to go take a lap for that one. Beautiful reaction my guy and also quite a scary accurate breakdown.
Great reaction.. I was hoping u do this eventually... love watching people's first time hearing them! Ronnie was in a very depressive state when he wrote this song... and yes, that was his Daughter Willow, she's his saving grace, but gotta check out The Trilogy next- " Losing My Mind", "Losing My Mind" & "Drugs"...
Yes the Falling In Reverse rabbit hole! Ronnie is going to blow your mind!🔥#FallingInReverse🤟
That is the most accurate and complete description of struggling with depression I have ever heard.
And yes as always thanks for another wonderful great perfect reaction video
Wow, this is one of the best reactions to this song I have watched. To me, you are spot on on so many levels between the music, the lyrics, the filmography, etc. To me the little girl is what keeps him attached to humanity.
This is the best reaction and analysis from this song that I have ever seen BY FAR!!! and I've seen plenty of them. Thanks for the video!
The fact that you literally understand everything he's talking about still blows my mind. I'm extremely impressed .
Lol..”what the hell…shit in my ass” 🤣🤣🤣🤣 dyin 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I loved your reaction! Next the Trilogy..Losing My Mind….Losing My Life…Drugs. Latest release is Zombified….Welcome to the genre Ronnie Radke 🔥🔥❤️🇨🇦
Definitely coming up for the next FIR video :)
"Crash my car just to feel again" ... one of the strongest lines ever said in a song !!!
It really is. The way that line made me feel when I heard it was when I realized I needed to get help for my depression.
The line,
The delivery,
It just hits and it hurts
Gives me chills every time
One of the, if not THE, best reactions to FIR I've seen. And I've seen a LOT lol ❤ thank youvgo4 doing them justice
I am watching the faces..... cool man you gots the GOODS
good words man
:) thanks for the comment pal
Your reaction was on point. This is my favorite band. He’s speaking about his life. He’s been through hell. I have the upmost respect for him & for you for getting it. Thank u.
Love this reaction! Your breakdown of lyrics and the video is absolutely spot on! 💯
Thanks for the feedback Mishh :) happy you enjoyed !
Yes yes yes. Honestly one of the best reactions and breakdown I've seen to this song. Also, do the Trilogy!!! Losing My Mind, Losing My Life, Drugs.
Trilogy is coming soon :) gonna reserve some time and do it all in one
@@TooBlunt Sweeeeeeet!!!! 💥 💥 💥 💥
@@TooBlunt i can't wait to see you doing the trilogy! Also, check out The Drug In Me Is Reimagined
Recorded that last night :) went on a whole trip
@@TooBlunt Awesome! Looking forward to seeing your reaction then!!! When you gonna be dropping it???? 😅
Thanks for the feedback :) happy you enjoyed
Thank you You crack me up and you have an old soul humility and character...✌🏼👑
I love love love your commentary. You're highly intuitive and intelligent. Thank you
You have the best review of this song by far. Bravo
Bro I just found you and I love you and appreciate you existing so fucking much. I love Jinjer and Falling in Reverse, Ronnie and Tatianna are amazing all around people. I’m glad you got this chance to listen to them and you actually understand what the song is saying instead of just bobbing your head, thank you ❤️
Incredible reaction!
Your empathy and awareness are just 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
There are so many artists who are on
the scene who are miles away from his talent.
I'm glad you saw this.
Well :) thanks to you guys I know about him now. I will be flooding the channel with videos of him. This song was all I needed
He IS his own genre...
mind blown @ 1:27 lol great reaction! can't wait to see your face in the end.
I'm telling you Ronnie is a badass! This is not a song it's a full body experience
Damn, your breakdown of that last scene with the bullets was the best take on it I've heard!
Ronnie is the most underrated artist at the moment
I love your ability to accurately know the issue even though you cant relate personally, it is so good to see
Add one more suggesting the trilogy. Every time I see the "Popular Monster" vid I get so hyped during the bridge / breakdown, I get all over chills building up knowing what is coming.
What an intelligent, empathetic, and articulate analysis. Pleasure to watch
Honestly ive watched so many reactions and everyone seems to be able to add something, its wonderful
Subbed.
Jesus christ, what a great analysis. I loved it. Thank you! :)
WOOOW! This was my first time too with FIR!!! I am blown away! Thank you!
You should also react to
I'm not a vampire and I'm not a vampire revamped
The drug in me is you and the drug in me reimagined
He did the first songs 10 years ago.
Just saw them in concert in Feb...was so good!
@@kathleenclark815 I would love to see them! I was sick when they came to Texas.
@@evematice6104 Oh bummer! I live an hour south of L.A..so wasn't too far. Next leg is in June!
There are a couple of things in your post - and I am not knocking you in any way. but they are slightly incorrect. There is a really good interview with him I found recently on TH-cam where he talks about what happened. I can try and find it in my history if you like
You got this one so.well. hope I see Ronnie react to yours ....
I commend you wholeheartedly for taking this piece by piece and breaking it down
this song broke the radio waves when it first came out.
Hands down the best reaction I have seen!!!
The fact that ronnie can do rap, metal and rock so well is insane to me!!
Wow dude! Great reaction. Great insight. Loved it! Welcome to the world of FIR!
It's EXHAUSTING putting on a happy face everyday sometimes.
Of all the reactions on this song you and Knox Hill are the only two that truly get it! Great job
:) thanks for feedback
Well dissected and analyzed. I agree 100%.
LIT....beyond the normal candle of enlightenment
Best reaction to this song I have found yet, Nice job.. Awesome break down of the song...
Great find! Ronnie Radke is a boss! It's a deep rabbit hole, dude.
Awesome reaction! Get ready do dive in to their amazing music.
