I like to PvP, and PvE. Usually wearing an Exo Suit nowadays. Unlocking it is easy with no cheats needed anymore, and usually on a server, official or unofficial, I'm not fussed. Single Player is great though, certainly with a guide for any platform be it xbox, ps4, ps5, pc, it's great. Sometimes play MTS, and usually post patch/update. But a survival game needs some community news and that's what I do, giving you the latest on events, small tribes, maybe even fast flyers and primitive plus, usually covering all maps from Island to Genesis Part 2. And one day. ARK 2!

Rag is really good but I love the center. Just wish there were more dinos from other maps available. Would love to fly around with some wyverns.

It has the most ridiculously deep Ocean, just wish they put a little more in it or more rewards for exploring it.
I found a tuso down there, I killed it and cut off its tentacles and put the tentacles in the obelisk

@OriginalRussianSpy it would be a great map if they would have added a bunch of dinos it has less dinos then the island
@@mokrummk154i am a new player (ase singleplayer) and i am like half way through the island atm, i collected 5/9 artifs and have a rex army ready. Once i finish island in like 2-3 weeks , i will start center but since there are no new dinos, i will add a creature mod ark additions so i get 10 new dinos on this map.

This is my favorite map in Ark.
I love building a base at the ice palace, it’s good for hiding and water + organic polymer is easy to achieve (as explained in the video). It’s surrounded by a forest full of animals who drop keratin and obviously meat. There’s also a bit of metal on the roof of the palace so I suggest building far enough for it to respawn. The only downsides are that many servers don’t allow you to build there since it’s near an artifact and it’s time consuming to get to the surface.
Mmmmm... Love the center 🤩! You can fly in and grab the devious on official. Was just in there taming some bats on the skiff lol. Awesome video man!

Honestly wish the Center would at the very least get a Desert Update to it. I would love to make it an indefinite home. But I really love desert boots/pants/gloves. xD

Where all of the other maps have width in their maps, The Center has DEPTH. Started playing it for the first time yesterday and it might be my new favorite. Helps reminiscing from the previous Monarky season too!! New favorite, especially for cluster servers as the main location in the future.
Dang, I played for a little bit in my early days a couple years ago on this map and have kinda hated on it for the most part. Just learned so much that I missed out in over the last few years

I still haven't fully gotten into switching to another map for engrams. I tried going to Scorched Earth once, and died by a sarco as soon as I reached the obelisk.
The Center is The Island but with geographic setpieces.
Watching this in may 2024 to prepare for Center in ASA, never played on it before so it will be a fun experience
This saved me 100's of hours of figuring things out on my own
i love the center map, its one of 4 that i play on in single player but the jungle cave drives me crazy with how over populated it gets
If you wipe all wild creatures before you get to that cave, it will improve performance.

Every time I play this map the cave closest to blue obslisk over spawn creatures and over tun the surface hence why i have not played it in a long time

i had no idea the center is this cool lol ive always played ragnarok
There is a spot in the Red wood just at the middle of that map. It is a large bridge just above the water below. Below it are beavers, on the bridge itself, rich metal and crystals. Also a natural defense as it has only 2 entries. Not ideal on a PVP server of course.

Ah yes, just when I decided to watch this vid to find a better spot for my base the freaking storm strated. I hate storms on this map, they're way too loud. And the worst part is that I couldn't find a command to stop them
Almost everyone is gonna disagree with me but the center is easily the best free map, the other maps are way to easy stuffing metal nodes anywhere they can (literally every other free map) and the best part is its alot like the island which i like, the map is so beautiful and the water is gorgeous. The ruins are amazing because they are actually useable and not extremely unbalnced by adding op dinos (like lost island and fjordur which added maewings which ruined the map for me) it being pretty rescource balanced and organizing it like putting obsidian crystal and metal in dangerous or mountaines areas. If i could i would just add the griffin

finally got around to trying this map, not really feeling it. If you haven't played it yourself, there's no safe place on this map, all the easy spots are full of alphas and high level rexes (they spawn like 100 meters from the beach), the medium and hard areas are as advertised, everywhere is hard, and if you doubt me and think I just got unlucky, I've been deleting saves, wiping dinos, etc. It's not luck, that's just how the map is.
I'm still near blue obelisk and I've seen more Alphas in a 2 hour timeframe than I've ever seen in any other map, modded or otherwise
I've gotta glitch were I can't enter and artifact caves so I have to spawn all of them in its bs

Mod maps always have higher levels than story maps. Ragnarok, Valguero, and Crystal Isles have the same high level thing.
I agree with Rag, but don't find Val or CI as good personally mate
I find high levels on all the mod maps, however if I want to go on a Rex taming spree the Center map is the place as a ton of Rexes spawn at the Red Obelisk and a decent amount of them are also at the floating island. This is good when you are trying to breed up the best possible stat Rex you can find. I would even say that you wouldn't have to waste much time finding high level Tek Rexes if your interested in building a RoboRex Army.
Im still learning about the maps and still need assistance about the game, also trying to look for people to play with as solo is boring after a while

The only animals that spawn here are things that actually existed at one point in time
Annunaki Genesis mod makes the center island hell, I go there for three seconds and me and my pt are killed by a wild dragon ( cuz with the mod, bosses spawn around the map) not a fun time

The best map
I ascended the island and then went to try the center, but I think I'll skip it. Sure it has amazing scenic views and places to build bases but it's simply too big for my taste. Because everything is so far apart that makes traversing the map such a big hassle. It would be cool to explore if there were more rewards and notes, but it has none other than what the island has, so it doesn't bring anything fresh other than just sheer size and being pain to traverse on land dinos.

Any good Xbox servers that are a little boosted and don’t have to many A-holes playing. One man tribe work full time so don’t want to waste time getting constantly raided. Also would like a cool community that are good for trading and boss fighting together

It's not available on mobile.
Ark Mobile only has the Island map.
