- Við fráfall Stefáns Karls misstum við einstaklega hæfileikaríkan, ljúfan og hlýjan mann. Hann snerti okkur öll á einn eða annan hátt, en það er einmitt einkenni mikilla listamanna. Og til að heiðra minningu hans tók Björgvin með honum lagið í síðasta sinn á Jólagestum Björgvins 2018.

Það hringir enginn inn jólin eins og Björgvin Halldórsson en þessi árlegi stórviðburður er orðinn ómissandi partur af jólahátíð landsmanna. Síðast seldust upp fimm tónleikar og færri komust að en vildu.

he's been gone for almost 6 years now and i still miss him, we still miss him this is really beautiful and a good tribute to Stefán, especially because this was his last public performance before his death, RIP Stefán, July 10th 1975-August 21st 2018 he's still our number one

1:53 - Björgvin wiping away a tear. Honestly don't know how he's keeping himself composed enough to have this ghostly duet. But I tip my hat at that kind of strength since I'm a crying mess at the moment. You were gone too soon from this world, but this world was lucky to have you when it did. Better to have loved, then lost, than never to have loved at all. RIP Stefán.

I started tearing up when his pictures appeared, I was sobbing when the footage of him singing played. Beautiful. A voice beyond the grave. We will never forget you.
And a standing ovation. Rightfully so.
I never saw this tribute before. Amazing. Right in the feels once again.
A wonderful live tribute to Stefán Karl Stefánsson, who left us way too early.
