    Sir if a player during service keeps his foot on the center line which divides the left and right court, but does not cross over the line into the other court , then is it ok or foul. Can we keep foot on the center line dring service?? Regards

    • @coachingbadminton
      @coachingbadminton  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No if you cross or touch line while you are service, you lose point. Lee

  • @chitung2277
    @chitung2277 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Coach, is this more of a sharp push involving arm or sharp flick of the wrist? It’s hard to see on video.

    • @coachingbadminton
      @coachingbadminton  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is more with finger power and between shape push and tap. Lee

    • @chitung2277

    Of all watching shuttle, net and opponent position still I'm unable to master but I hope one day it will be mine.

  • @infodiff
    @infodiff 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Sir do you recommend string tension above 28lbs? All top players use tension above 30lbs. Victor Axelson uses dura z strike and its maximum lbs written on the racket is 28lbs, but he uses 32lbs. In your experience does it help if we use higher lbs?

    • @coachingbadminton
      @coachingbadminton  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes I do know that professional players are using very high tension, but I personally like to use about 26. To me 30 or 31 is too tight tension for me to feel. It does not mean it is wrong to use high tension, it is each players choice and their habit. For me to say, 25-6 is already high tension and it is good enough to use and feel good. Too high tension also can damage racket too. Lee

    Sir just like fore hand service... when we do back hand front service , is it allowed or foul?
    Thanks sir.

    • @coachingbadminton
      @coachingbadminton  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Do you mean ready forehand and change it to backahnd or the other way? Lee

    • @infodiff
      @infodiff 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sir serving just like we take shot in front of the body, for a player with racket in left hand, returning the shot on right side of the body.... dropping the shuttle from right hand and rotating left hand and hitting from below. Hope i made is understandable sir.

      @infodiff 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Sir, I am currently playing a lot of doubles matches but I want to be a good singles player. So, whenever I am playing a singles match I am playing it like doubles and losing a lot of points. Can you give me some advice on how to adapt to the format of game.

    • @coachingbadminton
      @coachingbadminton  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Singles and doubles are very different game and need different shots and tactics. Soon I am going to make clips for it but you may have to wait for a while before you see it. What better players singles match and you can learn many tings. Lee

    So simple but very effective shot in doubles. Great tutorial. I do not use this shot enough, most peoples first reaction is to lob it to the back of the court

    sir i have recorded my small video doing that serve. Pl see if its right or foul. th-cam.com/video/AVL8qwvWJa8/w-d-xo.html action is same as forehand serve, the shuttle is dropped from the hand, cork is facing down, racket is below, both feet on the ground. regards :)

    • @coachingbadminton
      @coachingbadminton  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it is fine as the impact made under the line. If someone is doing forehand high service, it is same but you did it on your backhand. Lee
