I have been playing badminton for 40 years and I still struggle with many aspects of playing. Thank you so much for your coaching, It is really making sense. Greetings from London.
Hi, Coach Kennie! Newbie player here. Started playing last May 2021 without any background in badminton. I got better by learning new skills and techniques from your lessons. Thank you and keep inspiring more to get better! You are awesome!
love to watch as usual and do hope you can offer some tips on where to position after serving. I always get confused after my serve and stand there like a stone
What low serve return(s) do you suggest for beginner/intermediate (juniors) who need to stand deeper (as they find it harder to get back to flick serve)? Phil, 🇬🇧
@@CoachKennieAsuncion coach I last to last year I had my acl reconstruction and meniscus repair and now I started playing badminton I am playing it from last one month and I am properly fine my my footwork is improving and speed is also improving I have no problem but coach some times I see my knee is fine when I take off for one day but sometimes I see little bit swelling in my if knee I really push my self so hard in training coach is it normal or something bad please coach answer my question
Thank you, some really useful information in there. Nothing about where to stand though, in relation to the service line - should this be as close as possible to the service line, or back a bit to deal with flick serves? Thank you 👍
That is where players vary some like standing very close to the service line so that they can immediately hit the whot while others anticipate the flick and would rather move back a bit from the service line... it really depends what you prefer😁🏸
Please make the video on singles badminton tactics in first set I cannot get hundred percentage and lose first set like 15/10 and second set 15/10 please make the video
I noticed that at high level tournaments, people almost never serve low wide (and receivers are more close to the middle) That means it might be easy to punish the server when they serve low-wide, but I don't know how. I am pretty good at returning low serves from the T or directly to me. How do you optimally return a low wide serve towards your forehand? I understand it takes a longer time to travel than the other 2 low serves, so does that mean it is easier to kill it? In my experience when it already goes below the net, I can't return it advantageously, oftentimes I lose the point.
Serves are executed for opponents to potentially recieve it and give it back to us in a way we want it returned. Very good observation from u regarding international players and i will do my best to make a video explanation on this as it is hard to just text it. However, an immediate solution for u having a hard time with a wider serve, Is not to let ur opponent see that you are slowly moving your position closer to where u have difficulty receiving in that way u anticipate and hopefully return it better! 😁🏸
In playing doubles, do your best to make your partner feel confident and acknowledge their efforts, the more comfortable they are, the better they will play... if you are the better player when u have to lift, lift it to your side so when opponent smashes straight (which is stronger) you are the one returning it and if the opponent smashes cross court (which become softer bec of the travel time) it will be to your partner. 😁🏸
Be patient its really not easy but keep reminding yourself when to switch eventually it becomes natural. Also try to drop and grab a tube or grip of your racket so u strengthen your fingers and hand grip😁🏸
Hello Coach, I use Tips given by you. I have 1 Doubt, when to play cross-court drop shot? Because many times when I play coss-court my oppponent Tap my shot and wins point in Singles and Doubles. Please clear my Doubt.
If you’re opponent is waiting for you, that means you cross court drop is predictable. Sometimes instead of a cross drop change to a straight drop at the last min or maybe clear or smash at the last min. Do not be predictable😁🏸

Hi Coach. When I am receiving a service in doubles, should I decide where to place the shuttle even before the service is made? Thank you.
It would be good to have a plan but it can vary as you see your opponents position and all. 😁🏸
Thank you
How to face the shuttle which is at the edge of the court ... especially back corners
Will do a video to address that! 😁🏸
Hi maaaam
Thanks for the tips para hindi kain shuttle ang balik hahahahaha❤🏸

Ma'am is it normal having shoulder pain if you are beginner, because I am having shoulder pain and I cant smash.
Maybe you’ve overused it... ice it every after play for 15 min... see if that helps😁🏸
