Two things, that sounder will get very wet there, i would have moved it to the left, the batteries right on the transom are too heavy for this boat, I moved my start battery forward. These boat are ass heavy really would benifit from some trim tabs to get the nose down as peoples weight and motor weight close to transom
The sounder would have more protection to the port side of the dash however, it is still protected on either side via the console windshield. At Streaker Marine, we work closely with our customers during our fit-out process to personalise the layout of items to best suit them and their needs. We work hard on laying out these added options to maintain the optimal performance of the package. And as always, with some of our highly optioned packages, we will water test before handover so that all is in perfect working order.

What size shaft on the Minn Kota? 60 or 72?
60"
No trouble with it coming out of the water in a bit of chop?
@@solorider201 We actually recommend the 60" shaft on boats around 5m. We don't find the 72" necessary until the length hits 5.5m +
