- Our plans to put the Quintrex 460 Renegade SC were derailed by a nasty day on Port Phillip Bay. Still, performance stats have been replaced by some rough water wave riding by JV Marine's Mark Stav.
Price as tested was $62,750.

$62,750?! A couple of dealers in nsw are selling these, painted with biminis and mercury 75hp for 45k drive away. Are you telling me this thing has 17k of options? All i see is hydraulic steering, minn kota and grip pads around top deck. What a rip off!
Awesome boat I just bought one for $39000 new with 75 Yamaha. I go offshore and crabing $15 to Moreton island cost me nothing in fuel and goes like a shower of sh. Gone of the days costing $150 to take the boat out. The best all rounder
Big difference now of 20k for the same boat...
How can they justify that.
@@regkershaw 20k loaded with accessories you don’t need. You can still buy them for 40k painted sc with mid spec accessories

The marine market is a rip off
When did a 4.6 metre tinny use any fuel ? If a boat does use more fuel its because it was heavier, bigger, more suited to rough conditions. No such thing as a free lunch, save on fuel, pay later with stuffed back.
Mate how does she handle going over to Morton Island ? Would it be safe for a family of 4

Only thing I would point out is Quitrex and even Stacer boats like this don't come with a rod locker.
