We had a white long haired cat who suffered injuries before we adopted her, and a dog attack after we began feeding her. She loved having her belly rubbed. We think it is because she had trouble reaching her belly to groom herself. She also loved having her tail and rear area brushed, but not areas she could groom.
My cat loves her tummy rubbed. When we stop, she pulls our hands back to continue! We feel honoured by that.

Wow, i've had great instincts about cats. No wonder I get along with them so well. I don't do this stuff. I scratch the ears, not pet the face. I've done that slow blink and gotten theirs back countless times. I just noticed them doing it so I did too. I pet the back, not the tummy. And the very thought of playing ;with their whiskers makes me shudder. When I was 10, my little sister cut off our tuxedo's whiskers. He was very upset to understate it. I was able to hold him and calm him. It took some time (hours) and lots of TLC. I can't really claim wisdom about the odors one. I'm horribly allergic myself so my cat friends have lucked out in not being exposed to what makes me sneeze uncontrollably.
When we still had Ms Kitty in our lives, the only time she liked us to touch her belly is, when we were brushing her fur, with the wired cat brush.
I agree with most of the comments in this vid. My 2 cats love their face,cheeks, and head pet daily. In fact when i lie down they push my hands up with their head to stroke the areas. I wear out before they do!!!
My little girl lets me pet her belly just not too long
When our cat Sasha came to us at 4 months old she hated bely rubs, being picked up, cuddles or nose kisses.
As time went on she got to enjoy some of those to an extent. Only when she wants them.
Now a year later she likes belly rubs but only for a short time. Same with the rest. We don't push or force her to do anything she doesn't want to.
Face and body petting she absolutely loves. And even begs for them.
Her favorite activity though is when we play with her feather (cloth string) in the kitchen while I'm waiting for my food in the microwave. She even goes to the kitchen and begs me to play. Unfortunately my bedroom is across from the kitchen. So on those times I have to tell her no. I keep the toy in my bedroom.
Other times she plays with a variety of other toys in her toy box. Mostly ones she can chase.
My daughter had bought a laser pointer but she doesn't like it. So we don't play with her with it.
She is a total sweetheart.
I thank God every day for sending her to us and making her walk in our door one evening. She hasn't left since. She was a stray but now is a very much loved happy and healthy cat. Id say little but she weighs 11.2 lbs as per her breed. She is a Russian Blue mix.

I'm always, 2-3 times a day, piling up their kibbles in their bowls so that my girls don't get Whisker Fatigue. They always give me some purrs when I do that for them.
I like cold temps, but i make sure to provide warmer areas of the house. still, my cat likes to curl up with me, so i always provide a bare skin heater for me kitty. even so mich so that if i stay wrapped up in the blanket, my cat paws at the blanket till she can sestle against my chest or belly.
I knew most of it- but I admit, I am guilty of #1🙃
My roommate's children always yell and scream, I'd tell them to bring it down a notch
My cat Niels love when I blow raspberries on his belly and massage his shoulders at the same time! He actually demands it! He will fall down in front of me and show me his belly!
My cat begs for chest rubs. not belly, but chest. lol
When mine meow I meow back and we talk to each other 💋💋🐾🐾😻
One of my Torties loves belly rubs. She will flop down on the floor and meow at me until I rub her belly.
My other Tortie (both are 5F) likes shoulder massages and will sometimes give me love nips while I'm massaging her.
Excellent video. My Peggy (aka: Green Eyed Demon/Monster/Fluffy Bum Bum) just loves having her belly rubbed and will actively pull my hand onto her belly if I stop. Our feline babies are all individuals and unique and we love them all.❤❤❤
No belly rubs here (or very rarely).
