A pair of FREE one owner 74 Year old antique vacuum cleaners! First Look

I paid some postage a nd recieved 2 mystery vacuums! What fine pair of oldies do we have? Well, a very nice 119 and 612.. Let's see what their like and what modifications the previous owner has done over the decades!

Absolutely love old bronze coloured era hoovers. Back when vacuum cleaners were done well. When these are fettled they give a good standard of airflow and agitation.i think if id have had them in the 1950s id habe been really happy with them - the 612 for downstairs and the 119 for upstairs. Enjoy fixing these up Sam.

Thanks! I've got another 612 I've had longer I need to paint the handle and finish and get back to the owner. And the 119 needs a nice hammerite bronze paint job. Which means I'll probably do the 612 first as it's original paint is passable 😂

Both the 612 and 119 were in production from 1949 until 1955.

I plan to eventually. No idea when though, going to put them in the loft for safe keeping for a while* (finished filming another video on them last night that will come out soon)
