You may not be a professional colorist, but you sure brought these flowers to life with the few shades you used and your white pen just made those little stamen stand out - love it - I can see them as a cut away on the front of a card

Beautiful, funny, wise - everything there! Stampers Secret commented on how she uses special alcohol ink paper, and I'd like to follow up on that: I was taught that using regular paper/cardstock with alcohol markers "sucks" all the ink out of them. You get a lot of bleeding to the backside of the paper indicating you have used a LOT of ink. The bleed through might not matter for the designs you're creating, but the question of ink wastage ... well. Nevertheless, I will definitely try this! I don't own Copics, so it'll be a bummer if I run out in the middle of a design - can't buy single replacements - but it'll be worth the risk!

Hey there, there are loads of different alcohol ink papers available at craft stores and online, Yupo being the most popular (and expensive) with Manga artists. It's a synthetic paper so heat embossing can be a challenge.

It’s still working. I had to run the tip under hot water to remove some dried up ink.
