Yes, Years ago I watched your Rubber Band idea and I used the idea for my Six ladies at my workshop and it was really a cute card and fun. We laughed and had a lot of fun putting those rubber bands on the clear blocks.

I was thinking that if you took your acrylic pad and laid it on the table, then put your cardstock on top and rubbed it you may be able to get more of the recessed bands to print..love when Tom's there! Thanks for the fun.
I had totally forgotten about the rubber ban technique and I never tried it with a block. Good to know! Love both cards and backgrounds! They look fantastic!

Gina - watching your replay and I was thinking your print reminded me of spy movies when the museum thief is going to make his way through all the security laser lights to get across the room without triggering the alarms. And Tom's bowl reminds me of fiesta ware.

Great cards Gina and Tom! When I stamp using an acrylic block or wood mounted stamps I use a foam computer mouse pad under my cardstock. I think that would work well for the rubber band technique. Giselaine Ellison

You could do Tom's pattern in shades of blue to look like water on a pond, and put the lotus on top of it. That would be a combination of both of your cards tonight. That would look really pretty!

First off a quick PSA. It's always good idea to get blood work done before taking vitamins. Depending upon what's in a multivitamin and how much of it some vitamins or minerals can be toxic if you have too much. Okay that's enough mothering everyone LOL I love both of these cards, but I fell in love with Tom's background, and I love the angled cuts that he did. And I told him to pop up the soup and he did! 😄 I was rooting for the blue on Gina's card. I was thinking exactly what you said that it was so peaceful that it needed the blue instead of the almost Neon green. Love both of them, and I really love practice positive thinking. This is something I've been praying about and trying to do for some time. Some days are better than others LOL
When cutting your master layout dies, I suggest you turn your paper and die so it goes in corner first. That will make it a little easier to crank and will help keep your dies flatter.
Great company for a start up kit for ink blending is Inky Antics on Amazon. Comes with a couple stumps, a container of artist grade gamsol and sandpaper pad
