      @Borz Turk you can't teach turkish people to be civilized, especially those so called MHP nationalists! They don't care about not driving drunk, or obeying traffic rules or respecting other people or creature! The list is too fooking long! I've seen pretty much everything in my 40 years of adult life, it's hopeless, nothing changed during that time.
      Everybody claims to be so nice, yet you don't see it in real life.

      in Canada called TimberWolf.

    • @ophrynion
      @ophrynion 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@metinotje It is the truth not an assumption. Because the common wolf subspecies in our country is called Canis lupus pallipes (Persian / Indian Wolf) which is a middle size wold speices. However, our Canis lupus pallipeses are still bigger than the ones in India or Iran and some exceptional packs have big size members as near as big northern wolves like Timber Wolves. In addition, we have Canis lupus lupus (Eurasian Wolf / Grey Wolf) in the Europe part of Turkey called Trakya and some Canis lupus campestris (Caspian Wolf). This both speices are remarkably bigger than an average Canis lupus pallipes but they don't have big population.

    There is no wild sheep called Anatolian Muflon. They are called Armenian Muflon. They are endemic to the Armenian Highland, not just Turkey. There is a sizeable population of these animals in Armenia as well. Not everything is (or should be) presented in terms of today's geo-political situation. Certain things have their names for a reason. Anatolia is Western Turkey, which in Greek means East. It was the name/term used to refer to the Eastern part of their lands. The Eastern half of modern day Turkey occupies the territory of Armenian Highland. Eastern Anatolia is a made up name developed with the purpose of pushing out any reference to modern day Turkey, that might contain anything even remotely hinting on Armenia and Armenians. It just goes to show the level of insecurity that exists. An animal or a plant can be Anatolian only if it is from the Western part of Turkey. Eastern part has nothing to do with Anatolia.

      Not everything is about Armenia dude. No one cares about Armenia. It's Turkish soil. Deal with it.

      @@AbcDefg-br6ql Of course, not everything is about Armenia; but the things that are about Armenia, they are. Occupation of a territory by this or that state/country has nothing to do with the description and origins of an animal or geographical area. And again, calling Armenian Highland "Eastern Anatolia" is just plain stupid and a sign of lacking basic intellect. Anatolia was the Greek's term to refer to the eastern part of their country (modern day Western Turkey). So, to call something Eastern Anatolia is like saying Eastern Eastern. And if you call the Eastern part of modern day Turkey Anatolia (without the "eastern"), that's also incorrect, because again, that is the name for the western part of the country. And as far as Turkish soil, that's the reality of today, but not the indicator of whose lands they are. Things change, and that will too.

      @@mardamek Things change as names also change. Calling Turkish soil Armenian highlands would be inappropriate. Turks don't go on and talk about how Russians should name Siberia (Ancient Turkic lands). It's Russian soil now.

      @@AbcDefg-br6ql You have a point, and I wouldn't have an issue with that if another thing wasn't being done by news/media/television. That is - renaming things "retroactively". For example, BBC making a show about Roman soldiers, talking about their food supplies and mentioning figs and honey being brought from Turkey. Clearly, this is not only stupid and uneducated, but shows an intent to erase any mention of the culture/state that used to be in those territories. Turkey as a republic was established only in 1923 and even if we think of the Ottoman empire, that was established in late 1400's. So, either way, those lands were not "Turkic" or "Turkish" or "Turkish soil" (as you like to say) back then. So, using the argument that it is "Turkish soil" today, doesn't justify the misrepresentation that we get from these programs.
