Enjoying your daily vlogs, especially as always, seeing and hearing Jennie. *Just a thought though, as a youtuber myself for 18 years, who once tried daily vlogs; I did find views were down, due to people not getting around to seeing new videos every day...That's why personally, I space them out about 4 days, for people to catch up - Just thought I'd pass on my experience. Cheers to you both from australia
Thanks. It is hard to keep up. So far I have only been one behind but if it gets to be multiple I might give up. Especially since they are 20 minutes long with lots of filler.
You are so right (at 10:30): "Be very careful trying to turn something you love into your profession". I used to love working on cars, so I became a mechanic. When I retired 32 years later, I hated working on cars! I ended up loathing my hobby - just like you said! Thank goodness I didn't become a motorcycle mechanic! Thanks for a great video, and such great philosophy!
Thanks for filming this CamerGirl despite not feeling peppy! I hope that cup of tea was rejuvenating because I sure look forward to these. This one got heady and I love it. Was just wondering the other day why I don't fall through the chair I'm sitting on. Is it just because I percieve it as solid that makes it solid!?!?!? It's just a cloud of particles (atoms? I'm not the smart viewer...) constantly in motion, right?!
Just an idea for a future video. How to make Camera Girl happy when she is sad. Get your radio wave booty out there and shower her in whatever makes her happy until she’s delirious with happiness. Love the new video format. Have a wonderful day.
I am with Cammra girl, it doesn't matter if it is blue or grey. Colour is a confirmation bias, over time people could have been telling you this it is red. It is all on a spectrum, and we have cones and rods that see different percentages of each not everyone is the same and it is slightly varied and lessens over time. That is also how some people found out about colour blindness, and can still point out the right colour but they might only see a shade of grey.
So true JG.. I fly rc helicopters and planes and my good mate (we both learnt to fly together) works in a hobby shop and it’s taken the fun out of the hobby for him.
I've enjoyed watching your m/c repair vids. In this new format you are sharing your philosophy and slapping the camera for cuts. I don't care for either of those things. I realize this matters little to anyone except myself, just thought I'd share.
Turning a hobby into a career and now you have hundreds of crazy bosses (I e customers) that show up after hours-try to tell you how to do the job-attempt to beat down the cost or not pay at all! Never think you are going to be your own boss!
We All Occupy The Same Space, But We All Experience Reality Differently. We All Vibrate At Different Frequencies. That's Why Not Everyone Can See Ghost or Sasquatch , They Are Tuned Into Different Radio Frequencies. The Bank Thingy Happened To Me In Venice California, They Stole My $600 For 6 Months.
regarding radio waves... it depends on your frequency microwaves will bounce off solid objects, but lower frequency like AM radio will go though walls no problem. Color, is a very high frequency radio wave, and it bounces off just about everything.
The colour of something is frequency of reflected white light from that thing and the name the observer gives it. The existential state of matter is all relative, it's good to question but often being able to understand the answer is another thing entirely. Usually it is semantics debate, which gets dull rather quickly. The answer to the question 'If a tree falls in a wood and nobody is there to hear it, does it make a sound?' is Define 'Sound'.
So the 2 arguments made: 1) Is color real? - Yes it is real, even if we can perceive it different we can still measure color as a constant and agree on it, regardless if we see it different, we all still see red and can define it as such. This is kind of like how bore gauges dont actually measure anything, they measure the delta but we can still calibrate it to a micrometer or known distance and agree on the delta change, the distances are still agreeable and measurable regardless if we measure it different. 2) Radio waves dont see solid? - Yes because energy waves are not a mass, If you push dominos over each dominos isn't passing through one another and yet they still envelope energy into the next dominos making a wave of energy. The wave doesn't see a physical limitation but the mass does because these 2 are completely different things.
The other day my wife said something was in a red basket but there was only a purple basket then when I showed it to her she said okay it’s pink. But it’s clearly purple.
That seat is a Corbin--it looks ugly but I can tell you after twelve hours on that seat your butt will not be sore--its a well-designed seat made for comfort--a VERY good seat! Corbin might even get it looking good again--they are not very far from you. That bike is a sweetie, when its running right it is a pleasure to ride. Get some fenders for it please.
Could be as simple as the valves needing adjustment, if the rockers are a bit loose they'll make ticking noises, and likely not open the valve properly, so may not help with the decompression, but that's just a guess at this stage... :)
Color is just the ratio of rods and cones present in the individuals eyes that recieve the radiative energy that bounces back from the object being viewed
When it comes to the philosophical discussion about color, it can be both blue and grey simultaneously. As Robert Anton Wilson says, "you are the magician that makes the grass green". And as for the instruments used to measure the color, they're only as accurate as the person taking the measurement - their perception - or the calibration of said instrument and its interpretation of the measurement.
The most dr350s or dime a dozen in my area you can probably buy four or five maybe even six of them for $1,000 but I actually had a DR 125 that did the same exact thing and it did turn out to be the timing chain
We only see the color of light and object reflects back to your eyes. The wave length determines what the color is. We can't see every wave length, like ultra violet. 😊
Idk what mic you're using but the audio sounds dis-jointed. Sounds like everything you say is (dubbed) or added in edit. Been awhile since watching but the audio used to be normal. You are awesome!
Nothing is actually solid. There’s massively, mostly space inside every atom. Also it’s possible that we all see colors (using the wrong spelling for you) differently. One persons red we may perceive as blue. There’s no way to actually know, but we just call them ‘red’ ‘blue’ etc. even though we see them differently.
I've enjoyed your videos for a while .. not sure I'm feeling this new format. If you want to get introspective.. do a separate video or add to your channel. Leave the garage stuff alone, it's best on it's own.
Dude... the radio wave doesn't perceive anything. The radio wave goes through solid if its wavelength is high enough. The higher the wavelength the easier it can make its way through a solid but it will always lose energy while doing so. The side effect of the energy loss usually happens as the solid heating up.🤷
Small engine repair is easy. There are only two things to know. 1. How engines work. 2. How to eliminate variables. Mechanical ability, yes yes. Tools and fasteners, yes yes. Strength of materials, composites, adhesives, welding, lubricants.... Okay, maybe more than two things.
Colour:.. When you are a child you are told ; This is red This is blue This is green This is yellow And so on Different people may see different things thus interpreting what the colour is??
Why not divide the garage, bigger part for storage of bikes, and leftover place for your car. And the smaller bay, used for repair and videos. I love you guys and I respect your mechanical abilities.
I appreciate the comment. I needed to change the way we do videos for a number of reasons. We are experimenting right now, trying to find a good formula.
you may want to look up this guy named Korzybski and his theory of general semantics, or how language as a set of symbolism and summaries of reality affect our perception and confusion. We speak by reference to summaries when we think of the object and the other party hears the summary and attempts to reconstruct the object we tried to describe. Much is lost through language and this burdens our perception. If we were born and could survive alone would the material world be any different than what we learn through language?

If a tree falls in the forest and no one is there, stuff still gets squished.

But did the tree actually fall if nobody see it fall or was it on the ground all along?

But isn’t this bike a manual compression release?

Ive turned 3 hobbies into business's over the years. You are correct it isnt a good idea.
As a side note, you need more light in your shop bud.
Jenny's garage sounds like automatic decompression
The color you perceive is actually the absence of the other lightwave color frequencies.
I haven’t watched to the end yet but I know without a doubt that sound is the automatic decompression linkage that is connected to the kick starter.
Tripping with Jake would be a good time.
The Moody Bluse settled the color debate, "red is gray and yellow white but we decide wich is right and wich is an illusion".
Yes they did...
If this is a 94 or newer DR350 it has an automatic decompression system on the cam. That’s the sound you’re hearing.
What you are trying to get at is that reality is made of information. It's a popular concept in physics as of late.
All accounts with a bank are "investments" and they supply the reserves required for fractional reserve banking
