Thanks bro!! Very nice/interesting match!!
Most epic table tennis match ever!
Merci
When they are counterspinning... Their technique really can't be more different haha. What a match, great sportsmans both of them.
Repeat of the recent Top 12. Very nice game.
7:55 that backhand
Superb backhand by Kreanga at 7:48 ...
ITTF should not have banned speed glue.
Brain vs. Beast. Beast wins
kalinikos is a true fighter
クレアンガやっぱり人気すげぇな❗
insane backhand
sick backhand at 5:17
I had the exact same thought. It must be topspin to have reacted off Kreanga's bat like that. He just held out his paddle and it kicked off. The ball also continues to zip forward after it hits the ground..
sidespin with tospspin. it is difficult to observe it but if you watch it many times you will is it a sidetospin service
Yes I see that
Kreangas backhand at 10-10 in the 5th
kreanga with the backhand acrobat thingy
7:20, the famed Weixing pants-lift, as performed by Kreanga
The service at 6.03 is an underspin action with some sidespin added at the last moment. Kreanga pushed what he thought was underspin but the added sidespin made the ball jump up and very slightly to the right. Schlager uses a high throw serve and uses underspin with varied amounts of sidespin which is difficult to read. The high throw makes it more Spinny and more difficult to read. Schlager gets a lot of errors and easy third ball attacks off this serve.
Great game.
I´m wondering what happened at 6:03.
Was this an upspin-serve? What happened to the ball when Kreanga got contact with it, it clearly must have been an upspin-serve. But looking at Schlagers movement about 10 times it absolutely looks like cut. And Kreangas face after this ball is like "What the hell was that?".
I know Schlager is one of the best servers in the world. Can someone tell: Was this upspin at 6:03 and when yes - how?
I think it was a sidespin.
Yes indeed it was topspin,
There's a subtle difference at the contact point, he pulled the racket under the ball to make the topspin
Such a lucky Kreanga ..!
damn i so sorry for Shlager..
he is more smarter player that Kreanga!!!
anyway greate game from Both!!
@all please share this video....cauz its awsooome!!!!!
I disagree the service is with ton of lift as when Kreanga want to slice (not lift) it the ball pop up ! Very hard to see the efffect for the opponent !
you dont know who is playing crazier table tenis! :D
schlager disliked this XD
for me kreanga is the ultimate tt-god!!!
i m little tired of watching these 2 old men playing table tennis. though they re both legends they are old enough now to quit. how can it happen that in tennis you are nothing if you are over 35 and in table tennis you can win an olympic medal when 40 with a belly like my uncle who drinks a lot of beers. i look forward to seeing more young stars rising in europe like it happens in china.
The current matches seem very monotonous as compared to these matches.
yeah man thats what I think too. I believe the backhandflick was a game changer for tabletennis. the opener most of the time receiving
It's not a backspin serve at all. It' a pure sidespin and when Kreanga cuts it, it pops up. I do that serve (of course, a lot worse) and i learnt it imitating Schlager's
awesome schlager services!! but kreangas better on rally..
07:54 wtf?????
not any and any body can beats schlager though
