Respect your channel, among few others because I know, you'll never ever talk about bleu de Chanel and Dior sauvage/aventus type of fragrances,at least not in review terms, because I'm kind of alergic to what an everage Joe wears,so it's always interesting to see some new and ORIGINAL discoveries. Thanks for that:)
I feel like this house produces a rich, traditional, high-quality product and Dryad and Angelique are two of my favs I've tried so far. Thank you for your great, informative review (s).
My favorite perfume house. They are excellently priced for the quality too! My favorite is Salome followed by Dryad and then Bengale Rouge. Salome is my favorite fragrance period. I wore these fragrances all throughout tast fall/winter. I love all the fragrances from this house. Only house where I plan on buying every single fragrance. I still have to add Anubis and Tobaco Rose sometime before this coming fall. I bought Angelique right before spring rolled around since it is a lighter more warm weather appropriate fragrance.
I’m a little late to discovering this house, but I have been absolutely blown away. I can’t wait to wear Angelique this spring. It is such a lovely, ethereal fragrance. Also have been loving Tobacco Rose (and I’m not generally a rose person). Liz has done something so special with these fragrances.
I love Papillon. Every one of her perfumes has quality ingredients and an artistic vision. It was fascinating to watch an experienced nose react to them. I am in the US and it feels like there is more of culture of being safe and conformist, particularly in regards to fragrance. I imagine how most people here would describe Salome. Shock and horror. And you were like "fantastic chypre" 😅 My favorite is Anubis and I wear it even though it is probably a better masculine. Curious of your thoughts on Spell 125.
I don’t understand. I bought a bottle of Bengale Rouge and a bottle of Salome based on all the great reviews. Well I love Bengale, it is beautiful and lasts a long time but Salome, I can’t smell it. I sprayed it ten times after trying just a few sprays. Still nothing . I have my nose right on my wrist, nothing. I’m gonna return it. I’m very disappointed. Maybe Liz weakened her fragrances. Maybe it went bad coz it’s old. I don’t know. I know I get nothing.
Are they unisex? I prefer masculine manly scents. Unisex fragrances to me have no character, no personality, and basically boring to me. My wife is the same... she prefers feminine, soft and beautiful scents.
Hey man, yeah they are ultra unisex, but def not boring or lacking any character, the most masculine is Anubis, which is my favourite along with Salome. Salome is great if you like Chypres. Your wife would probably like Bengale Rouge lol
