These two videos were great! We have an olive tree at our new place and are going to give this a go shortly!!!

I really enjoyed both parts of this process. I looked up how to process your own olives and your videos came up first.
Last year all my olives fell of the tree but this year they have grown plots to maturity and I’m excited to give this a go.

Did you catch how long they need to sit in the brine for before the olives are ready?

👍 The St John’s College students had a great time preparing the olives with you! 👍👏

    Excellent!
I've just tasted my manzanillo olives after 2 1/2 weeks in the brine (couldn't wait 3) and they are delicious! I've tried other methods and this is the best by far. Good work Vasili!

Fantastic Vasili and students of St Johns...thank you for teaching me how to preserve the olives that are waiting for me on our 2 trees. Such a wonderful warm atmosphere there!

This works so well! I've tried a bunch of other methods for preserving the olives from my yard and I've never had any luck - until now. Thanks

Was there ever a video posted about the wrinkly over ripe olives?

Awesome video!!! I've been having an olive tree for about 6 years now in a huge clay pot and it's been doing great! Because of your video I decided to pick the olives this year ... about a kilo of them and I have them in water changing it every day... I have this "pickling vinegar" and I wonder if I could use it instead of regular vinegar in a few days when the 20 days of in fresh water end.... using pickling vinegar do I still have to use salt to make the brine? thank you and congrats on your video!! lot's of fun!!!

I watched and followed and my olives are now in the jars. However, after cutting them and removing them from the water some were too mushy. What did I do wrong (water changed every day)?

It needs to be said in reference to this particular video, that people who raise fat kids need to be penalised.

It needs to be said that people that call children fat and publicly shame them (I know you have targeted the parents, but all I can think of is how the child might have felt by your comment)
should get penalised. Take the comment down for the childrens sake. You can do better than that. Such a cool experience to watch the children go through. So disappointing that this comment has been left here for others to see after watching such a cool video
