I tried this method of preserving a heap of green olives , I scavenged from various olive trees around my neighbourhood last summer 2021 here in Perth. OMG....they are so delicious 1 year later. Thank you Vasili. 💖 Looking forward to doing it again in a month's time....🙆
This is wonderful....well done! There should be more activities like this in school and more videos made like this...Thank you Vasili and all the students at St,Johns
Mr Vasili i ve discovered your videos and i ve seen your love about nature and i have observed you are greek . You love Ελλάδα to bring πατρίδα customs to Australia. Much Respect from Hellas !
Hi loved your video... My olives are browning where I cut them,, and look like they are turning bad.. after 4 days in water, .. the olives are half green and half black.. what do you suggest please ?
20 days in water, Vasili? I do three days in hot water and I never score the black olives and have done so for decades and never had a problem. But I jar them for a minimum of three weeks.
Easier to spread a tarp under the tree. Then equip 3 or 4 girls with long poles, to knock the branches, then pick up tarp and let the olives roll into bags.
Thanks for coming down and showing our junior school students how to pick and sort the olives. Can’t wait to have you back.
