Stargazer will allways be one of the most unique Gundam. Not created for war, but for deep space exploration. Not created to kill and continue the cruel spiral of hate and pain, but to push humanity further. I really loved that fact and the aura this Gundam has thanks for it.
yeah i also really like Unicorn and QanT for being not made for warfare, despite being equipped for it (key to La+ program, quantum communication). I tried watching SEED and didn't like it, so I wanna watch Stargazer instead.

well Shinn's character had none in fact one could argue his character was far more retarded at the end than it was at the beginning, altho that could be considered some form of development. he went from angry mofo to a brainless mofo who would instantlly be hypnotized when hearing the words "believe in the chairman". Such a fucking retarded character shinn was.

well shinn was an emotional fool and naive. He fought solely based on emotions and it's understandable that he was more biased in believing Rey who he spent more time with than Athrun, and kira was a complete stranger. Shinn was just a little kid in a grown up body. Actually they were all kids, just our other main characters were too mature for their age

the intro to this song is like life itself jesus i love it. Stargazer was an amazing watch for me. IMO the problem with seed and seed destiny was them using 50+ episode time slots trying to fill a simple story with re-usable scenes and other nonsense that makes the story convoluted. It would have done better in a simple 24 ep slot. In its core the seed/destiny story is actually not bad but, stargazer just shows what happens when the makers take their time in making a story.
Honestly, they should've make Destiny a much more refined Stardust Memories since Shinn himself a rookie in a Gundam. And Kira should've pull an Iroquois Pliskin.
I'm thankfull to Seed that it brought life back to Gundam when it hit rock bottom. The other thing I'm grateful for is that it laid ground to Stargazer and all other great series that followed it. From that standpoint, it's a unique series and all Gundam fans should remember that.

Gundam Seed relating to Stargazer is imo the same as Mobile Suit Gundam 0079 to 08th MS Team. Where Seed and 0079 shows the 'romantic' and heroic story, Stargazer and 08th MS Team are showing the 'Grim Reality', thus the not perfect reality.

Really impressed how they made a Gundam not for war but just for peaceful purposes. Especially when they knew that weebos would always be simping for slaughtering machines like SF and QanT… and monsters like Inle, would people really be interested to buying figures of a peaceful machine? Still one of the best Mecha designs in a world flooded with powers and money. It is just like its color theme, being pure and maintaining absolute serenity.
It's so nice to see smart people who say seed was garbage instead of fanboys not shuting up out how they think Kira is the greatest pilot ever. I like it here
Well, I don't think it was complete garbage. It had some great ideas that got gobbled up by angsty melodrama, and it decided to retread old UC era ground instead of exploring the new world it had set up. I think that's why so many people like the side stories so much more.

Seed was great , but Destiny was just... it started out alright with some copy-pasted gundam designs (Its either a tribute or the designer are just lazy), then gradually getting worse and turn worst when all the rainbow shooting gundams fighting each other and not even a scratch, up until the ending (even the final battle was so one sided). Even the way they show how Durandal suddenly shows his true color feels so forced and rushed, then suddenly Lunamaria is going out with Shinn, suddenly a Lacus imposter appears without anyone questioning it (even thou they should've known that Lacus is leading a rebellion in the previous war), and many more problem (IMO) that I want to points out. Even the seiyuu (voice actor/tress) complaining about their characters (especially Shinn) and how the rating plummeted after half-way, then Fukuda (the director) change gear and put Kira back as main protagonist to gain a bit more popularity back but it didn't help much so they just decided to end it sooner... or so I've heard. Even at this moment, none of the Destiny gunpla is selling except for Strike Freedom (although the MG 2.0 version is quite a disappointment for some people). The best selling Seed series gunpla is still Strike Gundam and Astray Red Frame... which is an irony, knowing that Astray series is a side story and has an even more ridiculous story (same with Destiny, starts out alright then gradually getting worse. Simply because the manga main target is for selling toys, not for the story).

Please....Seed wasn't ALL garbage, just destiny was really bad. Stargazer was a much better refresh.

Seed was okay,but seed destiny Oh my god what Have they done to this series.If stargazer was a real series Instead of destiny the it would be cool,but no instead we get a complete garbage series with no explaination.Seed and seed destiny had a potential to be a good series it it was wasted.
