It’s dismissive, something that you’ll notice Rudy avoids in his conversations with Palestinians and that’s part of why he’s able to have initially hostile activists calm down and actually listen. A good idea is to switch and to both talk to people with no knowledge (which could represent a portion of his viewers), and some with extensive knowledge to represent the counter-arguments and debate them. He definitely needs to keep talking with people with no knowledge, as this could prevent misinformation amongst those who can relate. But, in order to really shine, he needs to get into debates with people that provide counter-arguments. Nonetheless, he does a great job, and even if he just debates with people with little to no knowledge, it will still have a meaningful impact. He provides real facts, not some bogus that the other side usually represents. I don't agree with all of his views, but when it comes to history, he does a good job.

I really like your videos, but one thing I noticed while watching the guy you were talking to is that he fully listened and never interrupted you while you were talking. I think sometimes while talking with others you sometimes struggle with this and don't let the other speak fully like he did to you. Just something to think about, love your videos
I really love the way Rudy is so passionate about this and how he patiently explains coherently to the gentleman that he is talking who obviously really wants to learn and understand. I think a lot of people have a bias view of the conflict in Israel/Palestine. The only way to progress is to talk, understand the history, and realise people are humans and love and kindness and compassion and humanity has been lost and needs to be made priority. It’s very positive.

Its a great thing this young man does by educating others. Problem with young social activists who protests for a social media posting for likes is that they they dont know what they are protesting for! They think they do but ask them in-depth questions and DUH! The problem with these types of protesters is that they have absolutely no knowledge at all. They do contribute in numbers where they lack in knowledge. Rudy is doing a fantastic job by educating them with facts.
Weren't there Canaanites already living on the land before Abraham migrated from the kingdom of Ur? Who was on the land when the Jews returned in the original Exodus? Surely the descendants of those non-Jewish Canaanites must be somewhere on the face of the planet today. If they weren't driven off following the destruction of the Temple, it is logical that they stayed on the land. Where else would they go? No one seems to consider these questions.

You’re making yourself a hostage to fortune-most democracies and well governed societies share a similar political system and in Israel it works well, and with some changes could work even better (but that’s for us Israelis to work on that). Also your point about the alliance with the US being not good for Israel - that’s either too totalisator or wrong (depends by what you mean by it): alliances are important and an alliance with the US is the most reliable one Israel has. But the details of that alliance must be changed, indeed. That depends on our politics inside Israel, via a domestic political process.

Regardless of what it was called or what label Palestinians are given, the fact remains that there was an indigenous non -jewish Arab population there. They were there through out all of the foreign colonisation periods, and they were definitely there before 1948 when Israel was created. Call them what you will. They were there

Not true. He omitted a lot of things. For example, Jews conquered Canaan 3,300 years ago. Before then other people lived there. Jews never had a land to begin with. I don’t even know where Jews exactly came from. But according to what I studied in Jewish school, they came from Abraham who was an Aramean man I believe. God told him your descendants will be numerous! Abraham accepted God! He was the first Jew, and Jews were most of his descendants. They came as a nation with an idea that there is only one God. Then God told them to conquer the land which was not their! So, Jews never had a land to begin with. They became a nation based on their religion. God chose them to make a world a better place, but from what I see of them, they have been doing the opposite…

Its a great thing this young man does by educating others. Problem with young social activists who protests for a social media posting for likes is that they they dont know what they are protesting for! They think they do but ask them in-depth questions and DUH! The problem with these types of protesters is that they have absolutely no knowledge at all. They do contribute in numbers where they lack in knowledge. Rudy is doing a fantastic job by educating them with facts.

Weren't there Canaanites already living on the land before Abraham migrated from the kingdom of Ur? Who was on the land when the Jews returned in the original Exodus? Surely the descendants of those non-Jewish Canaanites must be somewhere on the face of the planet today. If they weren't driven off following the destruction of the Temple, it is logical that they stayed on the land. Where else would they go? No one seems to consider these questions.

Rudy I like your videos and your ability to argue difficult points with flair. But I think you throw away some things too easily. For example, you say ‘democracy is a lie’ or (in a previous video) that a British style parliamentary system isn’t appropriate for Israel. You’re making yourself a hostage to fortune-most democracies and well governed societies share a similar political system and in Israel it works well, and with some changes could work even better (but that’s for us Israelis to work on that). Also your point about the alliance with the US being not good for Israel - that’s either too totalisator or wrong (depends by what you mean by it): alliances are important and an alliance with the US is the most reliable one Israel has. But the details of that alliance must be changed, indeed. That depends on our politics inside Israel, via a domestic political process.

Firstly, I do value your work and believe you are sincere with your aspiration. However, I not everything said in this video is true. My family (Palestinian Christians) migrated to South America from Bethlehem in the early 20th century. Although at the time many people in the americas referred to them as Syrians, they preserved their identity as Palestinians. The claim that Palestinians only started calling themselves Palestinians after 1968 is verifiably false, as Club Deportivo Palestino (Chilean 1st division football club) was founded in 1920 and named so after the Palestinian origins of the founding members.
WOW. I was born and raised in Israel and I always say that the conflict is so complicated that maybe 10 people in the whole country actually understand it. YOU'RE DEFINITELY ONE OF THEM. This is the best piece of info I ever heard about this conflict and the fact that the end conclusion is about coexisting and not about "kicking them out" is super inspiring and so so TRUE. You have to remove yourself from these silly 18th century pseudo-science ideas about race. Having white skin or brown skin is not a "race"! It's nothing more than a different amount of melanin, and the difference is caused by the climate you live in. Jews who lived in Europe for over a thousand years became lighter skinned than Jews who lived in Ethiopia for over a thousand years, who became darker skinned. But if you look at their DNA you'll see their overwhelmingly Levantine genetics!
