How to Download Subtitles Automatically In VLC Media Player? In this tutorial, I show you how to download subtitles for movies / TV shows in VLC. Follow the steps below to add subtitles in VLC:
1. Go to www.opensubtit... and create a free account. Confirm your account through the email you receive.
2. Open the movie you want to watch in VLC Media Player.
3. In the top menu of VLC, select View and then VLsub.
4. Once the VLsub menu opens select Show config.
5. Enter your username and password from www.opensubtit... and select Save.
6. Now in VLsub select either search by hash or search by name.
7. In the results, select the subtitles you'd like to download, select Download Selected.
8. The subtitles have now been added to your movie in VLC.

open VLC, open the show or movie... Window > Track Synchronization. Then you have to adjust the settings there like subtitle speed. Kind of trial and error
