This is gonna sound counterintuitive, but the day I started improving is the day I stopped watching other people’s make music and also stopped comparing
I actually believe young producers should devolop a personal style (get really good at a certain style first) before branching out and expirmenting in other genres.
nick always been the greatest. i never been too successful but he's the reason i'm able to make music I enjoy and can be proud of; and also the reason I started in the first place
Thing is obviously you can personally make whatever you want to gain skills but when you wanna upload online you need to have a niche (he also did at first) to get easily discovered and you can unleash all that heat when you get connected to the right people. You can't be a producer with 30 subscribers uploading all different kinds of beats that even the algorithm doesn't recognise.
Well nobody does that. Not even artists do that. Make 30 dif songs with 30 dif types of genres? Wtf. No. He’s saying u just gotta expand sounds. Master one sound then move on to the next, and the next, and the next
Coming from someone who makes thesame beats over and over again😂, if it weren’t for Juice wrld and a few other artists who love sticking to thesame sound, Nick would actually take this advice. Quite hypocritical of a thing to say.
Hey do you have any advise for someone who was heavy into this work back around as late as 2022 but I ended up going into a l l full blown relapse on drugs for near a year and a half Thank God there is a power higher than me because I would have been dead. It’s everyone that sees/ hears me always tells me I’m different there’s something special there you know I’m sure u B get it to bro. I need advise on new shit that’s come to light that I should be re learning , or newly learning. I got my audio degree from full sail in 21’ I’m 30 yo now so I know I’m starting to slack on this new shii I t. Sorry to tell you all this kind of just came out dude
False, try to make a different beat everyday and post it on TH-cam, dont gonna have a lot of views, people wanna listen to the same type of beats so you have to produce as much as Type Beats you can to expand.. That’s the sad truth, drop it or take it but it don’t change nun.
You are 100000% right bro. People don’t go to a hardware store when they’re looking for groceries. Finding a niche is the way to go. Experimenting with sounds only comes in handy when you don’t know your sound yet. I think this clip is sort of misleading and nobody here seems to get it lmao.
Thats not what Nick says. He says only about making different genres to get better at making music, and he is right about that. Not about how to get sales or grow on TH-cam.
@@КарлКарыч He says this but he barely change genres overtime, he sticks to his analog/synths melodies with his 808s, I never saw him doing reggaeton/drill/jersey so in my opinion he’s not real with us here, every beatmaker that made it outta here have THEIR style, and they stick to it (Southside 808 Mafia, Noah 40, Metro, Nick, Pierre Bourne etc..)
@@taxondatrack He says "my tip for YOUNG producers would be", and Nick is not a young producer now. He doesnt need to improve his craft right now, because it already reached the level you need to make songs with top artists. We both dont know how many beats he made and never released. Even if it would be 0, his advice is still good for becoming good at making music.
Bro making the same beats over and over and talk about originality this guy and lemonade fatty is the reason why beats sound all the same in 2023 and rap is mid😂
I disagree… find your lane/sound/brand and go hard. Theres a million producers that are better than you and more well known. Focus on you and your process and make sure to push yourself. A jack of all trades is a master of none.
Nah disagree be Good at what you do and be Creative Like Hans Zimmer He doesnt Need a Producer Tag so People know Its made by him no He just makes anwesome Creative stuff and you can Just Tell and feel Its coming from him. He does Music in Its Own way and Nobody can copy him
How about actually do it for the sake of making music and not because you wanna be famous how bout that lmao there is literally no substance in music anymore because y’all wanna be known y’all don’t care about music at all
Truth, tbh most people just wanna get paid than famous, if you wanna do music for a living the fastest way is to get discovered, even if you ain't famous, just being known enough by people who will buy your stuff, its not a crime.
This is coming from someone who makes the same beats.. what are you talking about? Yall internet money dudes be capping way to much.. and just talking to hear yourself talk..

Facts
real
No, your right. Same thing happened too me
Nah yeah, for me it was bcs I started creating what sounded good to me and not caring about all the stuff, just having fun with it
Nick Mira lowkey one of the best young producers
Regardless of what anybody wants to say, Nick Mira has always made a positive impact in the producer community
That’s really great advice , because that’s exactly how I started re-creating my favorite songs and it helped me a ton…
Inspiring for sure
I actually believe young producers should devolop a personal style (get really good at a certain style first) before branching out and expirmenting in other genres.
nick always been the greatest. i never been too successful but he's the reason i'm able to make music I enjoy and can be proud of; and also the reason I started in the first place
True. He was my biggest inspiration starting out
rs I used to only make one sort of beats but I’ve expanded to all sorts and I’ve learned so much otw

U missed the whole video

And here you are making trash ass type beats with shitty mixes 😂
i thought he was gon say tune your 808s
Same for like any artists
In order to fully understand good you gotta fully understand evil its duality that teaches the great
I think he just meant like, make different beats
I love that

i recreated billie jean from scratch! im ready!
Try Virginia beach by drake or star boy by the weekend
Stay inspired, listen to other genres, carve a path 🙏🏼
One of my biggest producer influences

This is true but the problem is there is a lack of education teaching other genres of music

Like Hans Zimmer He doesnt Need a Producer Tag so People know Its made by him no He just makes anwesome Creative stuff and you can Just Tell and feel Its coming from him. He does Music in Its Own way and Nobody can copy him
