Hoo boy- that's some very fine Dutch engineering there! Feadship builds some really beautiful boats. And the tugboat crews are not slouches at what they do either. Fantastic vid, DY!
Such a beatiful video, Dutch ambiant will always be magic. Miss theses short times to Feadship with MY Ecstasea ;-) Now on AVIT shorebased. Cheers from Ologik Engineering SARL in Switzerland
I enjoy watching these videos, between the tight squeeze in some places and watching the tug operators maneuver that ship down the canals is incredible. Especially considering an earlier reply stated it took a total of four hours to get to where it had to be. Very impressive!! 👏👏👏
WOW just WOW ! Amazing video . Love the close ups & tight squeezes . Don't know how you manage to get to all those locations in time . Mark (Toronto) 💙
Helicopter maybe on support yacht? Swimming area + stairs at the back. Limo tender , fishing boat trafic at same aft area? Chef milk run too. Are traffic light needed.
This is indeed a very nice video. Excellent work! Lots to see. The squeezing through the bridge is a real high light. Could you explain why the propulsion system of project #824 is covered in these yellow airbag looking like tubes, please? Regards from the Leeward Islands 🌴
@@fimme-janmulder1979 Thank you. 👍Interesting. I do remember these airbags from launches at commercial shipbuilders in the Far East been introduced some twenty five years ago or so.
I guess the Dutch are still the kings of tug boating. Anyone interested; try reading author Jan de Hartog's harrowing accounts of being a deep sea tugboat captain during WWII.
To me, it is one of the pleasures in life to watch professionals create something beautiful.
Hats off to the Dutch ship builders. Getting one of these super yachts down those canals would be like flying a helicopter in your living room.

Proud to be Dutch!
For the yacht as well as the manouvring qualities of push and tugboat crews!
Very interesting to watch the process. Thank you for sharing. ❤❤❤💯
Thank you for watching!

Realy I like this gigayacht project
Great video as usual. They always make me miss the Netherlands and my brief time interning at Feadship.

Thanks Mark. 4 days was quite long and we had to reduce the video from 2 hours to what it is now, but it was great fun to do.
We zagen het transport passeren bij Molen Windlust in Nieuwerkerk a/d IJssel......erg imposant !!😃
Can't believe people are still building these things !
? Can you Explain Why It Was Okay 100 years ago and now It's Not?
Just because your poor doesn't mean other people can't build a boat.
Building is what Feadship does as long as there are customers who order a superyacht.
The departments within the company really should talk more with eachother ; they built two !
Amazing shipbuilding company!
Welcome to the world!!

The tubes are just airbags. They are used to lift the back for the shallow waters

easy to see why all the NZ yards closed
Para poucos
They might need to widen the bridges
She's a sexy looking lady. Nice lines!

A typo
Somebody's got some money...
All that theft.
