I know this ain’t gotta do with anything but I put my friends battery on my quad and my quad didn’t want to start after that so I just left it alone for a minute and I heard a sizzling noise so i took it off and my cdi box was really hot I’m not sure what it cause now I’m not getting any spark

@@509trails the blue and white wire off the cdi box is for what

@@jamesgreco9771 it will plug in just like the old one will have to disconnect the green and white wire so it won't die when you put it into gear

What kind of quad ? I have had cdi boxes do that too sometimes they even pop

So it lets you rev higher in neutral?

new wiring harness $208 can you please send me the link
I had to call around to different states to find d one
So by converting to the new cdi you have to disconnect those two wire and adjusting the fuel?
Try just disconnecting the two wires first. I believe that I had to adjust my carb because I cleaned it
How is it so far with the new cdi box?
I sold it but it is working fine

The light didn't because I disconnected the wire to the cdi box but it went in to reverse just fine with out killing it
