Just bought these to replace my Terraflex 9550s that need to be replaced after 160k miles. I'm hoping that these are at least as good if not better. I was going to go with the same shocks I had but after reading lots of good reviews and seeing videos like yours I decided to give the 2.0's a chance.
I have the Fox Suspension and lift on my Rubicon, it still sways pretty bad, but it looks better.. and the ride IMO is better for daily driving.. That said, i am still running stock wheels and tires, mostly because i need to figure out what i can run that will clear my garage.
Question, I read you're supposed to cycle your shocks about 2 - 3 times of full compression before installing. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks in advance and great video bro!
I have heard of the aluminum bar pin breaking under normal driving. It was suggested to me to purchase a bar pin eliminator kit. Do you have any experience with this or has your fox aluminum bar pin failed you yet?
Thanks for the video! Question - did you have to buy new steering stabilizer mount for the Fox SS or did the Fox SS fit the Rough Country SS mount? I have the dual Rough Country SS and wanting to upgrade like you did!
Wow all that work for changing out shocks !!! Looks like a lot of over kill for shock replacement ( wheels, tires and and fender liners ?) not necessary to do all of that work looks like a detailing video to me
Nice video. Are those stock inner fender liners? The ones on my stock 2015 JK 2DR have a cut out where the upper shock mount is, so you don't need to remove it for shock install.
I love your attention to detail cleaning everything before you installed the shock. And detailed comments on the ride quality.
I just bought the fox 2.0 shocks and the fox 2.0 steering stabilizer with a 0-1" lift and there absolutely amazing!! So worth it
It helps if you push down instead of lifting up when loosening lug nuts.
Goes the same for most fasteners. Use gravity to help. Don’t fight it.
If you don't like ride quality, it could be your choice on lift coils .

What inner fender liner is that?
How well does the Fox 2.0 handle washboard??

"All that work?" That's 10 to 15 minutes my man. 😂😂😂
Does your Fox stabilizer pull to the left? I've heard it does that.
not at all
Whats the lift on your jeep? 5.5?

Great video man! I love the music playing! Please tell me the name of the song.
Man your jeep looks so clean underneath. You must not live in an area where they salt the roads.
Yea life long CA jeep... when I bought it there wasn't even I tiny scratch on the undercarriage
Get a breaker bar for those lugs. ;)
i have two. left arm and right arm haha
Does the jeep have to be lifted to install these?
There are different lengths of Fox shocks that fit from stock to 6.5 lift
@@michaelklingensmith2005 OK thanks, I really love my jeep but the ride feels so stiff I’m trying to find ways to soften that up a little bit
thanks for sharing, the music is a bit ..... a lot on the sleepy side.
