The last part of the song is just something else... Through the solo you can hear all variations of crying and battling the pain and on top of that when Axl's vocals are introduced in with the cry out you can feel that huge part of his soul dies with her in the moment, I think my heart is broken to million pieces. A fucking masterpiece of musical art!
This is Axl's masterpiece, he moved mountains go get it done the way he wanted with all the instruments and how he wanted it. It is beautiful and it will always be. I can relate to closing the eyes when listening to interesting music, it's the way we feel it more.
Axls masterpiece is Estranged. Not November Rain. In his words! He didn’t play piano on it because the level of difficulty was much higher. That’s why Dizzy plays it
@@davidball6357 you are very funny, for the songs estranged and november rain are purely written by axl rose, he made both works from a long time ago.. you have internet please google, because you do not live in his era.
This was by far the most awesome thing I ever saw live. Axl playing November Rain on a white grand piano with one of my best friends who is no longer with us. What a memory. And we would drive around singing Patience, Sweet Child O Mine and all the songs on Lies. Having the time of our life. Rest in Peace Brandon. I miss you.
I just gotta say...Been watching reaction videos from this era for a long time. It's so GD refreshing to see a reactor that LETS THE SONG PLAY WITHOUT STOPPING EVERY 5 SECONDS. Love seeing the genuine reaction in real time without a bunch of analysis. Great job, Rebeka can't wait to see more!
I have to say that you really do appreciate real classic music its wonderful to see your reaction to the music you take it all on board and you absorb it its pure magical to see you enjoy great music I totally enjoy your take on classic music you are great Rebeka. 👍 your a top class young lady 👏
I went to their concert shortly after they released the album with this song. I truly enjoyed how Axel controlled our feelings throughout the night. I have tickets to see them again this fall. This band should be heard live.
Glad it was in Tokyo... a much more polite audience. In the U.S. I often hear a drunken rowdy crowd whooping, shouting, screaming during something like this (delicate/classical piano opening. ) Ruins the live recording, not to mention the soloist not feeling respected. I lived in Japan 4 years. We could learn some things about civility from modern Asian cultures. Glad you did this
@@MikeB12800 Yes, you dont hear as much as in the early years about showing up late or things like that. There are some concerts where he is in a bad mood because of technical problems other things. But he doesn't stops the concert like they did in the early years. Too bad, that his voice isnt stable anymore. Some years were great, 2010 2012 the ACDC Tour and the beginning of the reunion for example. Other years were quiet bad.
Beautiful!. Both you and the song. I remeber when I first saw Guns N’ Roses at Broncos stadium in 2016. These songs bring me back to my high school days, I’ve been listening GNR since I was 13, I’m 26 now, so it’s been half of my life listening this great music
This song was written in the very early days of Guns N' Roses for their first album Appetite for Destruction, but left off because there were a few ballads already and Axl wanted to finish it properly. It was released in 1991 on Use Your Illusion I. Both Use Your Illusion records topped various charts at the time, neck and neck. It was poorly received by a lot of rock fans, but demand was so high for Guns N' Roses that they toured for 3 years straight, at points with Metallica, and points with many bands like Soundgarden, Nine Inch Nails, and Faith No More opening. It culminated in the band taking a hiatus before coming back with a covers album called "The Spaghetti Incident?". After that, Slash quit the band and Guns N' Roses went on hiatus for 5 years. Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum quit in the interim. The three of them got with Scott Weiland from Stone Temple Pilots and formed Velvet Revolver. Axl came back with a new lineup featuring Buckethead and Robin Finck on lead guitars, taking a very long time to record an album called Chinese Democracy. I highly recommend listening to a track called This I Love from that record, though I recommend cutting it as much as possible or muting it because Geffen are very protective of that album and tend to strike channels. It's risky, but the song is wonderful. Slash and Duff came back to Guns N' Roses in 2016, and the band embarked on the Not In This Lifetime Tour, which they've still yet to finish. Axl sang for AC/DC in between legs due to Brian Johnson from that band having significant hearing loss, and it was quite a spectacle as well. I strongly recommend checking out the Thunderstruck performance from Madison Square Garden in 2016. It's breathtaking. Keep up the great work, Rebeka!!! 🥰💙
Saw G&R perform this live at Hampton Coliseum in Virginia in. July 1991 with Skid Row opening. When that baby Grand piano descended from the ceiling and Axl started to tinkle the ivories my minf was blown💥. This was a time when the albums Use Your Illusions had not even been released yet. Awesome show!🤟
This reminds me of Freddie Mercury and Queen. In fact I think I read somewhere the Axle said that November Rain is his Bohemian Rhapsody . You know what it doesn't matter both songs move my spirit.
Closing your eyes while listening the music is the most beautiful gift you can give to the music itself :) I just love your reactions because you are so genuine, natural and glowing with beautiful energy. I have a sense that I can feel your emotions looking on your expressions while we are listening to the music at the same time and think that this it is the best possible way to react to a song - to connect with each other. Love your videos
Damn, good point, especially at the time, when everyone was either left over glam or grunge with the uprising of goth, guns and roses were willing to create something so emotional and such art
An amazing song, very nice is that little break and after that the final part is more intense and just a little louder. Guns "n" roses one of so many amazing bands creating the music history of the 80s.
I agree, you really really need to see the official version. The video with the music tells a much deeper story in a much clearer way. Sounds the same but is better.
