@@matteopro2 He didn't get "banned by the FAA", an FAA investigator just followed up on a complaint someone filed about Peter's ultralight being dangerous. The complaint was found to be frivolous and was closed with no further action.

For the fuel system within the tank. You should use the same system they use in most cars. It's an absorbent bag or layer at the bottom of the tank. So when you roll or fly upside down you can do so for a short period of time before losing the engine
“It’s going to be pretty expensive if it crashes.” I think that’s a relatable problem for the navy.

I don't like to use the term, but this really felt like a sell-out video. It just felt like Peter turned into a talking head for this video with none of the charm that makes his channel great. I hope he puts the jet engine into another build so we can get real Peter's opinion on it.

I too served, and retired from the USN, working around F-18 Aircraft, and the model you made, was pretty nice considering the turbine being located on top of the aft end. Its still in its trial stages.
One: not enough thrust
Two: material cant handle the standing loads, let alone kinetic forces that would be applied during operation
Three: would add more weight from added components needed to bring it all together

Kinda crazy that you flew that, that well. The F-18 is super unstable IRL and requires a computer to make constant corrections. Just kinda cool you can fly such an unstable airframe.

that would cause a lot of issues of room for the engines and also fuel. it would be a massive challenge.

its clearly not an actual real time conversation, in the second "call" peter is just recorded with the same camera that they were using, he should be using a phone or a laptop to actually videocall, still imo its obvious enough that its cool, its just storytelling, its true that its pretty ackward and bland

This dosent seem like your usual quality videos that I love. It seemed disconnected and out of place like some 7.45min advert which was rushed, and you couldn't even hear the jet over the music. Don't let the channel become some washed out trash. I love your projects and videos
